McDermott’s Defense utilizes alot of undersized, speed/quickness players. Not saying that’s what happened here, but it’s likely a contributing factor to the point you made. 1 2 Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted August 31 Posted August 31 He was average to begin with and now off the Achilles he’s cooked. Sucks for him. We missed on that draft pick… 1 3 Quote
Nephilim17 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Tough for him, but he wasn't playing well. The Bills had tried to convert him to a one-tech and it wasn't working. Some thought he kept a roster spot this year largely due to his third-round status. Quote

As bad as congress taking a summer break The one difference is congress votes themselves to take a break, here I'm sure the coaches would have preferred practices,, but nobody asked them. 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted August 31 Posted August 31 It’s too bad we didn’t draft any defensive linemen. 5 Quote
Steptide Posted August 31 Posted August 31 All in beanes plan to get Jordan Phillips in the starting line up 😉😉 I kid. Sucks though 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted August 31 Posted August 31 He had 4 tackles in preseason 0 ints, 0 fumble recoveries. Quote

Johnnycage46 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Sucks for his career. Not a great year last year and now a lost year this year. Tough break. Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 (edited) I'd bet we sign Zion Logue to the 53 and Quinton Jefferson or Eli Ankou to the Practice Squad to replace him. Edited August 31 by BillsFanForever19 Quote

Yes, the first move of anyone hacking an NFL Insider would be to fake report an Achilles Injury to Dewayne Carter... Edited August 31 by BillsFanForever19 4 1 Quote

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Didn't see this posted from BN A league source told The Buffalo News on Sunday that second-year defensive tackle DeWayne Carter tore his Achilles tendon during Wednesday’s practice and will miss the year. The news was first reported by NFL reporter Jordan Schultz. Quote

BlueRed Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Sucks for Carter. I agree with others that the drop off to Logue/Phillips probably wont be noticeable. But does anyone want to pretend to know anything about other teams practice squads - we could swipe someone else for the active roster and keep Logue/Phillips on the practice squad as well. Who’s out there that would be interesting? Quote
