TBBills Fan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Congratulations, earned and well deserved! Hope you are able to shine bright this year on the field 2 1 1 Quote
Captain_Quint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I remember when we signed him as a UDFA 2 years ago to a 3 year contract. Someone on the board was a SDSU fan, and was really high on him for his ST abilities. Said he would eventually be on the roster, so now he has his shot. Can't remember who it was, but good call considering all that it takes for these guys to stick. 3 Quote
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Pumped. I was worried he'd be another bubble guy they ditched despite popular acclaim. Quote
billsbackto81 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Color me shocked!!! Happy for the kid, now let's see that awesome preseason carry over into the regular season. Hope he gets targets from Josh so he can shine. Quote
TheBrownBear Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Congrats to Shavers! Always thought he had nice potential after seeing him in person at SDSU. Quote
HansLanda Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago At end of day, maybe a core special teamer and may get maybe 20 receptions? Quote
Taro Nimbus Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago How long before people turn on him if he has a bad game. 2 Quote

No. If they're smart they'll sub him in as a relief WR for Coleman and Palmer at around 20-30% of the snaps and he can be productive, not just a stiff/decoy/just a body. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Congrats to the kid! Hard work can pay off! Good story. Will be interesting to see if all WRs are healthy do they dress 6? Still no work on Moore that I have seen so Im assuming they kept 6 Quote

SoonerBillsFan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago congrats, the kid has worked his butt off and deserves the shot. So 6 WR it is then. 1 Quote
Walking Tall Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I don’t think is is some small thing. The Bills have the national spotlight right now. NFL players and college players are watching Hard Knocks. What a message to send to the world. Make our practice squad and your NFL career isn’t over. Work your ass off and you will make the 53. Look for undrafted guys to have that drummed into their heads. Congrats, 80! Edited 1 hour ago by Walking Tall Quote

Highly doubt this unless injury. We can agree to disagree. Quote

I expect he is targeted for Hollins role last year, exactly as you suggest. Quote
