After his suspension, Larry O will either be waived and stashed on the PS, or moved to the 53 man roster if someone is injured.....at least that's how I see it.

Don't worry, we only drafted 3 DTs the last couple years & signed another in free agency. Surely, bringing Phillips back is a good sign!

There’s nothing wrong with bringing back cheap scheme fits that give you a baseline competency heading into camp.

 

Its going into cut downs and bringing them in after spending 3 draft picks and a big FA that’s the problem

Also Jones is our only true 1-tech now. Walker is big like a 1-tech, but he plays like a 3-tech. Would be nice to have another player that can play 1 or 0 if needed.

He had said earlier in the off season that he was done playing unless the Bills and only the Bills wanted him to come back.

I think Philips and Lawson have made it clear they really only want to play in Buffalo, if possible.

 

I wouldnt be surprised if after his contract ran out there was a wink and nod agreement like, stay in shape and stay ready and you get camp off as we sift through a bunch of new/young guys, and we'll likely bring you back during cuts.

 

He's usually cheap, and has great vet experience and makes plays, and is great at bringing attitude that this defense needs, gets under olineman skin.

 

Just needs to stay healthy...

If we beat KC last year there's two plays everyone would have remembered.  Cooks goal line carry and Phillips blowing up the KC line for the big sack at the goal line and then pressuring Mahommes again 2 plays later.
