These announcers are like "The Bears are back!!!!!"

Are they not aware its starters vs. 2nd and 3rd stringers????

If they didn't score a TD, then it would be a shock.

I like the Buffalo Joe storyline. He looks solid in run support and when he plays with other starters which is fine, but the dude has been lost in coverage the last two games.

Not worried about the backups allowing that drive but I will say that I was pretty impressed with the Bears offensive design there. Getting guys open for Caleb.

Are folks really going to be upset on here tonight with all the backups in, other than Bishop who obviously has a long way to go? I mean...cmon

For real.  Codrington is starting

He is looking better than the other safety.

That is why Hamlin keeps starting. The other guys are worse.

I was heavily criticized for saying Bishop was straying into bust territory.

Hmm.

I've seen Bishop...

Barely practiced in three weeks, it’s hard to shine when your playing with back ups but he looked slow and confused.

Buffalo Joe was a little weak on the drops....needs to read that there are no underneath routes and get deeper.  Bernard can school him here.  One of his strengths.

To be fair, that's a tough matchup for a safety one on one against a slot

Sure. But it is what we saw whenever he was on the field last season too. Doesn't read it quickly enough and always late reacting.

someone tell me anything Bishop has done to be a locked in starter.

Locked in starting out the season on the bench. That's about it

 Backups

Yes and no. Bishop is a starter. All of the D line on that series are technically "backups", but they will be playing 20-40 percent of snaps
