Riverboat Ritchie Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Probably not worth it’s own thread but found Jordan’s response to giving away a Dolphin jersey funny. Loved him as a Bill. Interesting dude. He looked washed last year with us and last year but what a warrior in his prime. Driving to KC with the broken rib….. https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2025/08/jordan-poyers-blunt-five-word-response-about-dolphins-jersey-has-bills-fans-in-stitches.html?outputType=amp 1 1 7 Quote
Sojourner Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Always liked Poyer, the mighty Bush played a part in his downfall. Thankfully the double cushions he had to fall down on propped him up I guess! 3 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I loved him while he was here, and understood he wanted to work and the dolphins were offering. Sometimes it’s best just know when it’s over. He looked old and slow his last year here, and was worse in Miami. Sure, a part of me thinks it’s funny, but when I’ve left a company, I’ve never trashed my old manager or the company where I made a living. Just move onto something new. He certainly has made enough $ in his professional career, so invest well, spend time with you’re family, and accept you had a rich career. 1 Quote
NewEra Posted August 14 Posted August 14 One of my favorite all time Bills. Loved the attitude he played with. That punch out he made at the goal line vs KC was just unreal and gave us a chance to win. Without it, the game was over 3 3 1 Quote
juno999 Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I had the utmost respect for Poyer. I lost some on the Keon Coleman hit last year. It really was a dumb play but he was a good Bill and him driving out to KC was fantastic. 1 3 Quote

If the Dolphins called me up and offered me $32.50 I would sign immediately. I am 44, 2 bad knees, 2 bad hips, 2 blown discs, balding, and haven't played since HS... but I would jump at the chance and so would everyone else here. 1 2 1 Quote

That’s one of my favorite Poyer plays. I have multiple Poyer and Milano jerseys. 1 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Wouldn't be shocked if, at some point, he was added to the Practice Squad. 2 1 1 Quote

Let him enjoy his Ayahuasca ceremonies and time with his family. He was a great member of the team, but his days on the field are done. Quote

However, I doubt Chief Isku Kua is going to be asking for your Van Heusen Jersey and Dockers anytime soon. It's not just about being a good enough guy not to say something. It's about not needing the next job to make a living. There is a reason its called f you money. Quote

Yeah, but especially if Bishop and Rapp continue to show they are prone to injury. But for the Bills' sake, not a good scenario, of course. Quote
buffalostu2 Posted August 14 Posted August 14 It read more to me like he was trashing his own play on the Dolphins rather than the Dolphins overall. Kind of not the best version of himself. I do wonder why guys always say "just enjoying life and being with family" when asked what they are up to. If you are open to playing again, why not just say I am up at 5 AM everyday working out in case you get a call because that is how you're wired". Quote
SCBills Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Probably my favorite non-JA Bill. Played with so much heart. The drive to KC to play through a rib injury with a collapsed lung.. that dude is wired different. 1 Quote
ganesh Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Just didn't like how he hit and tooke out Coleman last year...The guy was having a great rookie season 1 Quote
