Beane said as much last week, and Coach says limitation is cutting/lateral as of last week (straight line hes fine). Usually with a hammy, once you can go straight its 7-10 days of rehab to get lateral movement without re injury. Depending on severity of course, but going off Beane and Coach comments, I'd expect end of week hes at least "limited". 1 2 Quote

The Jokeman Posted Tuesday at 02:53 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:53 PM (edited) I didn't see it posted anywhere but the Bills signed a former Jaguars/Saints S in Tre Herndon today and cut TE Matt Sakol. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-sign-s-tre-herndon-release-te-matt-sokol based on his teams it sounds like a history with Ryan Nielsen. Not saying he's a shoe in for the 53 but could prove the team looking to improve the spot. Edited Tuesday at 02:58 PM by The Jokeman 4 Quote

Undrafted in 2018... 3 star recruit who played 4 years at Vanderbilt. 1 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted Tuesday at 03:41 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:41 PM Herndon can play both safety and CB. This roster move may have more to do with injuries at safety than anything else. Taylor Rapp is a non-participant today and Cole Bishop is limited. Darrick Forrest is special teams only That left Cam Lewis and Damar Hamlin as the only safeties. Hancock is playing some safety too, but I don't think the Bills want him to have too much on his plate as a rookie. Herndon gives them another player for practice. The facts that he has some experience, position flexibility and familiarity with a coach on staff can only help. 1 Quote
