We’re averaging about a page a day, so we really need to pick up the pace before Jerruh does what he always does……pay too much because he enjoyed the attention he got while waiting. Once he signs we have a few pages complaining about how badly we failed, but then real football will start happening and it will fade away. Until there is a time to point to our many failings sometime years down the line, nothing is ever truly forgotten. Quote

Would you make that deal? Would go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history, and top 3 worst in Bills history, right up there with the Lynch trade. Would get Beane fired. A supremely dumb move. 2 1 1 Quote

A moment of silent, deep appreciation for an owner who stays out of the news and out of the business of running the Bills. 😌 4 Quote

Future draft picks will take 2-4 years to make a difference, whereas Parsons is a difference maker on the first snap. We can’t wait 2-4 years. We need to strike while the irons hot. We’re at a 85% chance of making SB … Parsons would make it 95%. 2 Quote
MiracleAtRich1393 Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I would absolutely love a Parsons trade (basically like getting Von in his prime instead of the twilight) but I think Beane is scarred from the Von experience. Plus we'd have to send back a decent chunk of salary to make it work under the cap, and I think they want to stick with their compression style edges rather than the speed/bend guys unfortunately. I agree it would instantly make us the super bowl faves. A guy can dream but it's almost certainly not happening. In any event, Jerry loves RBs, throw him Cook for the salary (lol if we trade him immediately after the contract saga), Landon Jackson to get him a Razorback positional replacement, a 2026 first and a 2027 3rd. Super Bowl 🤣 Quote
BuffBillsForLife Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Beane's failing point as a GM is his unwillingness to go all-in for top talent. I imagine he feels burned by Von tearing his ACL but it was the right idea and he shouldn't be scared of swinging for the fences. If you can get Parsons in his prime you do it, even if it's expensive. If Beane had pulled the trigger and traded for Von mid-season instead of the Rams 13 seconds would never have happened and we would have won it all that year. 1 Quote
Chandler#81 Posted August 17 Posted August 17 A 1st, a 2nd next season and trade McDermott. Jerrah would take it! 1 Quote

People really need to look at the Bills cap situation. They have the least amount of space in the entire league. They can’t obtain Parsons at this point. https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space 1 1 Quote
