  1. Bills send #28, #144, MN 2025, and Kaiir Elam to San Francisco for #31 & Brandon Aiyuk. They don't have to draft a CB early and get a better shot at an Aiyuk's replacement at 28, we get our new #1 WR and still maintain a first rounder
  2. trade back into the second round for another day 2, then trade MN 2025 for a ~mid third rounder and you're there pretty easily
  3. Yeah I did too. Some confusing drops, couldn't tell if maybe the sun was in his eyes or something because they were bizarre, gave me bad Gabe flashbacks. But I see his floor as a crazy fast Gabe Davis, which definitely has value, even if he only gets 3-5 targets a game but he's running 25 go routes/game his rookie year. The threat is real
  4. Totally get it on BTJ. But he has blazing speed that has to be respected in a huge frame no less. If teams have to play high safeties or else get burned for a TD in the blink of an eye, that's where the underneath mismatches get exploited with all the short area/YAC threats we have (Kincaid, Shakir, Samuel, Cook, and Josh). So I could definitely see a bust if he's expected to be your #1 from day 1. For a fit with the pieces around him I think he works very well with the skill sets we have decided to emphasize on the roster.
  5. Can we fit his $19mil under the cap? This seems insanely cheap for him and obviously something I'd do in a heartbeat if so
  6. I used this draft chart, it's exactly even if you consider MN 2025 the equivalent of mid-third rounder this year (general rule is a 1-round discount for year-ahead picks). https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart-Rich-Hill.asp?RequestTeam=buf Also you move up at least a round back into the end of day 3 in both scenarios as well
  7. Thought it would be fun to try to predict some draft day trades to see which (if any) come to fruition (or close) after the fact My three favorite: Bills send #28, #60, and MN 2025 2nd rounder to Seattle for #16 and #81. Bills draft Brian Thomas Jr. with #16 and maintain a 2024 day 2 pick. Bills send #28, #60, #144 and MN 2025 to Carolina for #33, #39, and #101. Bills draft two second tier WR's at #33 & #39, get the first pick on day 3. Could easily use one of the five 4th/5th rounders to trade back into day 2 from #101. Bills send #28, #60, and MN 2025 to Washington for #36, #40, and #100. Bills draft two second tier WR's at #36 & #40, get the last pick of day 2 and maintain all picks on day 3.
  8. Oh yeah I was referring to the supposed Herbert to MN rumor
  9. Sorry I was joking there's no way Gabe should stop them from drafting a guy like BTJ
  10. Figured! Wondering how that trade could work in practice then. Seems like it just couldn't?
  11. I'm no cap expert but looks like a trade hits the Chargers with $63mil dead cap for this year? But a post June 1 trade is only $13mil? Can picks exchange hands on Thursday with a player being designated a post June 1 officially?
  12. Shakir is a speed slot, Samuel is not a pure outside WR, we don't have a bona fide X or Z. One pick X, one pick Z. Pretty simple. Rookie 1 starts at X over Hollins & Shorter, Rookie 2 shares snaps at Z with Samuel and some Shakir. Unless they think they can get a cheap-ish vet plug in at either X or Z post June 1 🤷‍♂️ Shorter should have been a priority FA last year not a 5th round pick. He's eminently replaceable, good practice squad option. Hollins is here for special teams unless Shorter beats him out
