GO BILLS!!! Thanks Ethan, great way to take a step back and realize we are all just folk nerding out on one thing or another, 👍 I'm getting seasick just thinking about that trip! Nick Offerman has a book about building a canoe. I may try that one day. 4 1 Quote

I do several camping trips with the kids every year that have become things I enjoy planning and preparing for year round. Just became a Grandpa and in two weeks will have all my kids and now grandkid at the campground. Cooking is also a big passion for mine. My wife hasn't made dinner in 14 years. It's for the best. Every night I have one of the kids come in and assist cooking dinner. It's a special time that's hopefully building special memories for the kids once I'm off this world. Of the more embarrassing hobbies, I make TikToks. Mostly comedy about parenting and marriage. Some Bills content there too. Any particular type of food you like to cook? 2 hours ago, NoHuddleKelly12 said: — Listening to Bills pods and stalking TBD; —Running…have done 5 marathons and getting ready to do my first baby ultra (32 miles) in November, all at snails paces; —History, specifically WW2; —Star Trek/Star Wars. Ethan, first thanks for the distraction with this thread. It seems like we have a diverse bunch of guys (unisex phrase). As far as hobbies, I work in the business side of medicine, so not a hobby, but a large part of my life. Faith is important to me, and so is my family. I’m a father of three, and now with my second marriage two stepsons. My daughter is adopted from China, and turns out 8 years after the end of my first marriage (22 years), I swore I’d never remarry, but did to the most wonderful girl and coincidentally was born and raised in China. Talking to her parents is interesting as they don’t speak English. They live in my wife’s home about 4-5 months a year. I’ve always worked out since I was 14, and just a part of me. I have a buddy we try and train together around 4-5 days a week. I too liked all the Star Trek shows and movies except that DSN. I still go to church most weeks, but don’t ask my wife to attend. I have a park I enjoy the solitude. It’s called Philippe Park in Safety Harbor and on the north end of Tampa Bay. I enjoy the silence of it, and have actually started to meditate, which was a challenge as I’m usually a mile a minute. It’s nice watching the fisherman, and the older couple taking walks with each other holding hands. Movies Football (mainly the NFL) Love cooking for my wife and her kids Lastly, a closet Dexter fan. I’ve been able to get my wife excited on the shows, and her ring ton is the beginning song for Dexter. Mine is the ominous music at the end of every show. Anyway, it’s nice to get to know each of you. I appreciate knowing some of the other interests. Enjoy the weekend guys. 2 1 Quote

While I was still in Buffalo ( mid 90s) my sister received a letter from a woman who said they thought we might be their long lost family. We are😮 I was the one who started a regular correspondence with Zlata in Zagreb and Sandra here. My grandparents emigrated over 100 years ago from what is now Croatia. They lost touch with both sides. My sisters and I and our families visited Croatia and we had a literal family reunion in 2019 and a larger one in 2021. All of us are in the process of getting our dual citizenship and I hope to move back to Croatia after retirement 😎 PS. I’ve created my own “ collection” of sentences on an app I use for practice. Here are a few the board might like: Buffalo Billsi su naša momčad. The Buffalo Bills are our team. Josh Allen je najbolji quarterback u NFL-u. Josh Allen is the best quarterback in the NFL. 🦬🦬🦬 Edited 8 hours ago by Buffalo Boy 4 Quote

finn Posted Friday at 10:59 AM Posted Friday at 10:59 AM A welcome thread on an off day, Ethan, thank you. Like Steve Billieve, I play a lot of chess, although, oddly, I now prefer online correspondence games (i.e., one day per move) to over the board games. They're more like a puzzle to solve at my leisure than a tense battle. (I like the Sunday NYT crossword puzzle, too.) Doubles tennis, squash when I can, pond hockey especially. I'm by far the oldest out there every year, but I can still hold my own, at least in my mind. 1 Quote

Always wanted a vintage typewriter to work on smaller pieces. My laws bought me one for Christmas but it didn't work. Never had a chance to actually use it. eball Posted Friday at 11:13 AM Posted Friday at 11:13 AM I find I spend most of my time trying not to hate other Bills fans! 😉 I’m now lucky enough to be semi-retired and my wife and I love to travel. Just this year alone we’ve been to Vietnam, Cambodia, and southern France (Provence), and in October we’re going to Malaga (Spain) to visit friends who left the US permanently and moved there in March. I’m a golf junkie…play a couple of times a week and plan to start devoting some real time to practice with the goal of getting my handicap into single digits. Oh, and according to Badol on this site I’m a drunk! Cheers and Go Bills! 🍻 2 Quote

I'm a child of the 80s and Rickey was well one of the best of the decade. I loved his swagger and the way he just over took games as a hitter and on the base paths. Funko pops are collectible figures of pop culture people/characters of a numerous amount of genres. I'm sure you've seen them in stores as they're everywhere, little dolls in boxes with black eyes.
