Yawn. Wake me up after the 3rd regular season game and then we can start drawing some conclusions.

3 days of camp without pads and people are drawing conclusions. Hilarious.

The only thing you can take from this so far is 1) Josh will probably start at QB 2) Bishop is a starting safety, it’s his job to lose and 3) They are going to make Max earn the #2 CB spot.

Shocker.

(I love that Tre is looking good so far. Love that man)

Oh heck . you know it's fun times right now 😋

Players, including Josh Allen, can suffer injuries that keep them out for 1-5 weeks.  If Josh suffers one of those injuries, our season is not over.

Luckily our QB can also play with a broken hand

Knew before clicking that the fight would involve Anderson. He's a shift-disturber.

Me too. I fully expected to see his name. He did not disappoint.

Not gonna lie as someone that really wants Hairston to be the starter, this quote makes me root for Tre to earn it.

This might be the most interesting thing I've seen from camp so far.

Man, I am so glad Tre White is back, I've missed having his personality in the back field.

Yeah, Tre isn't gonna just give the rookie the spot. If Max starts he's gonna have to fight for it. Not sure I've ever seen such an intense quote from Tre before.

If Hamlin or whoever else starts getting rotated in with the 1st team that will change my perspective on it. Right now though there doesn't appear to be a competition for that spot or even an opening for someone else to make it a competition.

I will say though I've been seeing a few too many reports where Bishop is on the losing end of a good offensive play which worries me a bit. If he's consistently not playing up to par he can lose the job just like anyone else.

Basically how I see it is, they're confident in what they have with Hamlin.  They want to give Bishop every chance to show he can step into the starting role.  I don't think that means he's locked in as the starter, exactly for the reason you say - if he doesn't step into it and step up, it will be "next!"

Honestly changed my perspective on the whole signing. Here I was foolishly thinking Tre was signed as basically a mascot, but that's not how he's approaching it. He's here to return to top form and win. And yeah I'm rooting for him.

If he does win the job and Hairston is standing on the sideline I am going to be even more aggravated they didn’t take Donovan ezeiraku.

they could hav traded back a little and taken him and added another pick somewhere.  The number 1 thing the bills need to improve is hitting the quarterback.  Not sure how ezeiraku will hold up vs the run but they are raving about his abilities as a pass rusher in Dallas.

You know how this is going to go. Tre is going to start, and at some point Max will take over after he’s “earned it” according to the McD criteria.

Will that be by the end of camp? Who knows.

We were still going to need a cost controlled, long term solution at CB2 so I still think Max was the correct pick.

a return to form from Tre would be huge win for the bills this season.

Anderson is like Spencer Brown's Mini-me. And Hawes is like Anderson's Mini-me. It's like Matryoshka A-holes.

More than likely.  But trading back could have given you a pick that you took someone like revel with.  Then he could take time getting healthy while white was the starter

doesn’t matter now I guess

I still remember the old Peyton Manning line.  Someone asked a coach there why their #2 never got reps during the week.   And the answer was "Without Peyton we're *****, and we don't practice *****".

Same here. If Josh goes down for any length that goes past like 6-7 weeks, then just go for that top 5 pick.

So long as the Bills keep shopping from the refuse pile, they're telling me that any lengthy for Josh = tank

Have you not seen our record the last few years??? If Josh misses even half a season, God forbid, all we have to do is play .500 ball and we can absolutely get into the playoffs.

Insane to think we'd waste a post season opportunity with Josh at the helm.

Sure if (AGAIN GOD FORBID) Josh is going to miss playoffs for sone reason, sign me up for a tank for Jamar Chase type scenario. But no, all they'd have to do is play .500 ball, and White can get that done

Yeah, I just figured they were extending a courtesy to a guy they respected and who could help Hairston reach his potential.

Apparently Mr White doesn't see it that way and has reached a point where he's all done dicking around.

As good as this could be for Tre, it could also be really good for Hairston as well.

Now I know why the Bills fired their conditioning coach, saw a couple of photo's of Beane and he looks a bit out of shape.

Also noticed Ferguson has some grey in his beard.  Got to wonder if a player  is too old and should have retired before getting grey hair?

When does that happen? Tre is gonna start, Max’s progression will be on the slow track. Bills get knocked out of playoffs because Tre is a liability against the stronger teams. The McD way

I like the idea of earning it as much as the next guy. Seems to me though aging players who have lost a step or players coming off injury don’t have to prove anything, just show up.
