I’ll wait till the bullets fly on Franklin, since he did nothing last year, but I was much higher on him as a Bills fit than most last year 1 1 Quote

Halftime, commercials, no NFL crawler at the base of the screen...no NFL studio cut in to show highlights of other games like you normally see. Other games are at least playing some starters. Would have been nice to see. The solution to this is to pretend preseason football doesn’t exist. I started doing that a few years and let me tell ya I’ve been over the moon happy with that decision 2 Quote

Yea I had Franklin ranked super high last year too. Sean Payton is a fickle man so a good camp and preseason may not translate to anything in season. Quote
No_Matter_What Posted August 17 Posted August 17 I checked Dolphins board after their Lions preseason game and they seem to be extatic about their rookie class, esp. RB Ollie Gordon and DTs Kenneth Grant, Jordan Phillips and Zeek Biggers. Quote

Maine-iac Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Hard to tell from preseason but two guys I was hoping we'd take a late swing on seem to be playing well in Seattle. Tory Horton and Martinez would have both been nice editions here. Cook has been a non issue and our RB room looks good as is but I've always wished we had a 6 foot something 220 pound back who could actually bang but not drafting another RB isn't much of an issue. Horton on the other hand would have been a great addition and seems to check a lot of boxes as far as game speed, size, and actual polish. Also interesting to see Jordan Phillips had a night for the Dolphins. I'm the first to admit I thought we'd go 1 tech and later take a swing on penetrating DT and I thought wrong. Quote

Their defense will be solid, but they’ll be lucky to win 5 games with Wilson as their QB. I can’t see Wilson starting more than 4 games…maybe even zero, at this rate. Developing Jaxson Dart is the only way Daboll keeps his job. Quote

Afraid to take hits and checks down the second he feels pressure. Quote

If only they could find a way to get Goodell to enforce a rule that teams are only allowed to play their 2nd- and 3rd-string players against Miami, they might be on to something. 2 Quote

I guess seeing if a bust can break out with a change of scenery is a wise move, but Metchie has played 29 NFL games since he came back from his injury and has 415 total yards with only one career TD. They already have him penciled in as the starter. Seems like a great situation to come into. Njigba on one side, Kupp in the slot, and Darnold who has a bit of the gunslinger mentality. Quote
