Omg. His eye is shut. My word.

"Shut still".  Still meaning days, if not weeks.  That would be mad annoying only having sight out of one eye for a week, don't you think?  How do get depth perception with one eye?

Isn't that left over from his 4th of July fireworks shenanigans?  Eye still shut for over a month doesn't seem great.

I always said Caleb Williams was Kyler Murray when everyone was comparing him to Mahomes. Still early yet for him and he has the right coach now so we shall see

And Caleb even has a long way to go to reach Kyler level IMO. At least Murray can keep it competitive a lot of the time.

now we know why Tua had zero interceptions previously in training camp.

Not a big deal but it shows how poor the Dolphins secondary is.

It may also illustrate how poor their practice habits are, as was reported last season.

Exactly. Here in Cincinnati, everyone has been raving about how good the offense has been in camp. And we saw that last night. Both starting units played the first quarter last night, and the offense moved the ball with ease. But then the Bengals' starting defense promptly gave up a TD to the Eagles backups including two long runs by Will Shipley. The Bengals and Dolphins are exactly the same teams that they were last year.

Dolphins players are fighting each other at a joint practice with the Bears.

I have mentioned it to you before, I seriously believe that there's a potential for the Dolphins to collapse just like the Jets did last year. Their secondary and offensive line are in shambles, Hill pissed some people off with his noise at the end of season and it feels like they are an injury away from things cascading out of control

bears will surprise this season

It really depends on Caleb Williams. The reports on him throughout the offseason have not been great, and that's after a rookie season where he showed little to no progress from week 1 to week 18. It's gonna be tough sledding in that division if their QB play is bottom tier. Good news for Ben Johnson is he has no ties to Caleb Williams so if they have to move on from him he'll get a fresh start with the QB of his choice in 2026.

Other than that I agree their team looks like one that could be much better than expected, but you can't hide awful QB play if it comes to that.

I'm in the Chicago area. The local talk has been that Williams is not "getting it", regarding the pure-progression system Ben Johnson is installing. Reports are that they've been butting heads over it.

I doubt arguing with the HC & throwing temper tantrums in practice drills are endearing him to his teammates either.

Agree to disagree, Williams isn't exactly lighting it up in camp. If he can't pick apart camp CBs, he'll be no better than last year

He is funny man, used to hate him, grown to appreciate his greatness

I think I hate the douchebag even more now - if that's even possible
