I didn't expect Cook to make it, good for him.

Tua making it on the list feels pretty silly especially after another year where he missed significant time after an injury.

Tua shouldn't be on there, but at least he is ranked pretty low. It's fun to see Cook get on the list. He had a really good year.

I hope Spencer Brown makes it. He and Dawkins were just excellent last year. But I doubt he gets the love. I'm sure Dawkins will make it.

Does Christian Benford make it? It seemed like he got talked about a lot more last year.

Benford is a top 5 CB in the league.  There is no doubt he will make it

IMO if you have 16 TDs you've got to get some recognition

All homerism aside..

Allen, Dawkins and Brown should be stone cold locks for the Top 100.

Not sure how accurately this list represents OL (clearly not well at all) so I  don’t know for sure that Dion makes it.

Brown is pretty close to elite, if not there already, with greats like Lane Johnson hyping him.. but I don’t know he has the name recognition yet to make this list.

Benford and Cook are guys who I was 50/50 on, but Cook made it and obviously has name recognition.  Benford’s play warrants it but not sure about name recognition.

Allen should be #1 overall but Lamar might get it due to his regular season prowess on a team typically more stacked than what Allen has had.

Dion will make it for sure. He has the name recognition, goes to the pro bowl every year, and has the personality that gets him noticed. Brown and Benford deserve it, but I don't know if they have the national recognition yet.

He deserves it. I don't think he is a lock to make it, though.

I think Dawkins, Brown, Benford and Allen make it

I think Rousseau should and might make it

Based on everything I’ve heard from people speculating on what Rousseau has been and analytics show can be, especially on an improved line, I doubt he makes it this year .. but I think he does next year.

Im expecting a “breakout” year, in terms of national attention, for Rousseau this year.

His analytics numbers show he’s much better than he gets credit for.. mainly due to low sack numbers and playing on a meh DL where he asked to do alot of dirty work.

That will only happen if he gets sacks. That's just kind of how it goes if you are a defensive end.

I've always thought this was a fun, and interesting poll, but I'll never put much stock in its accuracy. Being that it's current players who cast votes, there is certainly at least some element of popularity involved. The fact that Josh Allen-- reputed as one of the top trash-talkers in the league-- was ranked outside of the top ten in '24 makes that clear.

As Spencer Brown has always been quick to get in anyone's face who even looks at Josh wrong, I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't a very popular player outside of Buffalo. But we sure love him!

Gotta say early off season when he made his demands known (15 mil per) I thought it was way too much.

But now considering the RB position is sort of in a Renaissance period, I feel he maybe very close to his expectations.

He's a more physical runner than most give him credit for and it appears he's taken care of his fumble and drop issues. If he can become a better blocker he'd be a complete back.

He wants 15 and Beane is probably thinking 11. So call 4yr. 13 per 52 mil/ 40 guaranteed

Too high for Tua.  He's no longer top 100 if he ever was.

Seems a bit low for Cook.  He's a top 4 RB in the league.  I'd say somewhere in the 55-70 range would be more accurate.

Brown is a top 3 RT.  Dawkins played well last year as well.  Will be interesting to see where they land.

Benford is not a lock down man to man corner but he is very good.  i think these ranking favor the guys who play in more man to man systems.

Wil be interested to see if Taron Johnson makes it. At one point he was top 2 nickel in the league.  I think his play has fallen off a bit the last two years, but still very good.

He is an offensive lineman. It is tough to get noticed for a lot of those guys.

Agreed. This is still kinda a popularity contest and he is a bit of an unsung hero. Plus there are just soooo many CBs.

I dont want him blocking. Leave that to our elite OL and Josh's scrambling skills. I want Cook squeaking out of the backfield so Josh can dump it him in space and let his speed and agility gash the D for 10 yards a pop. That will slow any rush better than a blocking RB.

Thank you.  Thurman could pass block but he was devastating as a receiver.  Cook will learn to block but as you said let him release as a safety valve.  Josh will find the open guy and beat the blitz far more often than not.

I don’t want him blocking all the time, but he has to at least be adequate enough so as not to tip off the D regarding what we are running. If he’s a blocking liability he hurts us, and if the D knows he’s sneaking out into the flats it makes it easier on them. I don’t want any “tells” because he’s not competent at an important aspect of the game. He doesn’t have to be great, but at least adequate to keep the opponents honest.
