Unless you have tickets on your phone that they scan to enter in the stadium it would be pretty cool to keep the ticket stub from this game being that it's the last regular season game ever at the stadium. Even if the game is meaningless in the standings, it won't be for the mafia assuming Bills make playoffs. That's what's gonna be so cool about it. What really would be a finality is if the Bills didn't make the playoffs and the last game would officially be the last game. How emotional would that be? The perfect season to me is Bills home field advantage in AFC, go to SB & win it all! I can see the movie rights for it already 🤞LFG! 1 Quote

Agree. They are quietly making excuses for a delay in the construction blaming the "harsh winter weather". I thought last years winter was pretty basic Buffalo weather! 1 Quote

boyst Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM Saw the stadium today. It's amazing how much bigger it since it's not 197' under the ground. Quote
machine gun kelly Posted yesterday at 09:42 AM Posted yesterday at 09:42 AM We’re deciding between KC and Tampa. We normally like to go into September, but there are only duds at 1pm on a Sunday. I know KC is a 4pm game. My reasoning is we want to only take a Friday, Monday off, and night games for me stink. Too late given my body is up at 5am everyday whether working or not. Quote

I have very little doubt that it will be “ready” to host fans for a football game week #1. I think they will still have a lot of behind the scenes items to finish, but I doubt that there will be much for fans to notice as “undone.” I hope I’m right. 1 Quote

That's ok Most of these stadiums are not fully finished when they are opened. the cowboys stadium I remember specifically was not fully finished and they had a ribbon cutting ceremony, a concert then played the whole first season in the stadium while they finished the small details. i imagine it’s the same thing here Edited 6 hours ago by MikePJ76 Quote
behind a post WMS69 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Paint and punch-list consisting of installing or replacing non working fixtures, such as lighting and appliances are typically the last things done on a large construction project. My guess is that some of the high tech systems may have programming kinks to work out also. If memory is correct (which is not all the time these days) I seem to recall the scoreboard having issues on opening night at Rich Stadium. Quote

Looking back it was really just a bunch of light bulbs, but nobody had ever thought you could watch replays while sitting in the stadium. The picture quality was horrible but if you squinted you could almost tell what was on the ‘screen’. 😂 Quote

The tech center building which will run the scoreboard, lighting, snow melting, turn sensors, wi-fi, and anything else I forgot was the first thing started. It is located between the stadium and Hammer;s Lot. They had to install the underground conduits before anything was started, The building itself was finished probably around Christmas. They have been installing the wiring and computers. Quote
