I figured it wasn’t  Joe Marino but assuming no one could come of with “herd mentality” on their own is the part that seemed odd to me.  It’s a very common phrase.  Now if some Pats podcast dude started the Mr. WEO podcast…….that would be weird.

I like it.   Marino took his handle, he can take Marino's handle.   Reminds me of the old days when you could log onto TSW and type any name in and start posting.  Late 90's.   I'd get on and see someone using my name and having conversations about birds and other sh!t that I would never be having.   It was amusing because nothing they could say could be more controversial than my truthful opinions about the Bills.   Like the impending salary cap disaster that the majority of the board insisted I was wrong about.   TSW @Joe Marino should adopt some controversial takes!

I really liked LJ pre draft.  I thought he was a possible for our first  round pick.  Getting him in the 3rd is crazy.  
 

I also love the D. Walker pick.  There’s not very many people on the planet as big as him who move like him, He can even play DE.  How he was available in the 4th idk.  Must have been injury concerns.  
 

I can easily see those two picks out performing our first two picks. Especially considering Beanes drafting track record lol!!

Jackson's a third round pick, and usually edge rushers that fall to the third round -- great DL draft or not -- don't turn into premium pass rushers. Obviously, it's not a guarantee, and I'll be rooting for him to exceed expectations and ball out for Buffalo. But if he can work into the rotation, add some juice, and set the edge, I'll consider him a worthwhile 3rd round pick.

 

I rather have him boom or bust then to get a Kelsey type from him

You can look at him as a sack threat, i.e. the Alabama game in '23. But yeah, it's on the run where having him instead of Epenesa on the edge makes a difference in denying the sideline to the RB. There's a lot of tape on Jackson that looked a lot like Epenesa last year - out in space playing contain on a misdirection play. Except where Epenesa got waltzed consistently, Jackson was racking TFL's. He's not lost in space, he can click and close so much better than AJE who looked that guy in the commercial pouring his own inground pool. Jackson's change of direction isn't great but AJE's is like trying to take a tank through a slalom course.

 

I liken the difference between Jackson and Epenesa there as exactly the difference between James Cook and Singletary... the latter is just lacking that top gear to make it to the sideline.

i like Jackson’s upside.  Same with Walker.  They have physical traits to help right away in spot duty, but they both seem a couple years away from reaching their potential hence why they lasted as long as they did. expecting a 3rd rounder to be a monster is asking for disappointment.
