Unless you play madden for a living --- I mean our offense was just so horrible LY: record breaking season and all, Josh won MVP, etc----  yep, offense is the problem.

I mean it was obvious these were areas we needed to upgrade-   then we watch the Eagles totally rattle Mahomes and that offense, like never seen before.  And it was clear as day what we needed to do.

 

Eagles didn't win the SB bc of offense, it was that defense that won it and a solid performance by Hurts.  

 

Copy cat league, we have the pieces on offense not defense

 

I understand what you're saying but do not agree with the final line. The Bills have Josh and Cook, with the latter being upset. Outside of that, the offense is made up of a bunch of average to good players at best, but no game changers in terms of receivers/TEs. This draft would not have made a massive difference in terms of talent level, I accept that. But it could have given the Bills something different. The fourth round pick is the one which bugs me. I hope I'm wrong, and the Bills bring in a big name free agent/trade at WR whilst Walker comes through.

Second half of the draft Beane is pulling gems out of the rough left and right.  Prather has great size and most of the ingredients to be a decent WR.

We also needed a WR with vertical traits. I know it was not a good WR class and I wasn't banging the drum for one in the first three rounds, but I think we should have taken one early today. I guess our best option now is re-signing Cooper.

Pathetic, they finally pick a wide receiver just so they can say they picked a receiver when the fan base has about had it with the lack of true talent in that area and help for Josh... and it's in the 7th round, basically a nobody in the UDFA category.

with 10 picks this year, I studied this draft more than any I ever have.  I knew every pick and was impressed - Beane really stuck to BPA.  In saying that, I have no idea who this WR is and I studied the group extensively.  Neyor would have been in interesting pick here. Go get Neyor, Dolac and a Punter in UDFA.  Dolac to the Bills should be automatic as we need depth at LB and we drafted no one.  Punter too, as our two current punters are really bad
