He's much better than the rotating bodies of last year. Not the monster 1 the we all want, but there is no risk in these one-year deals, especially since he is a release and not a comp pick guy.

A little confused by this one.   Thought he was a 3 tech.  That would put him at the same position as Oliver and Carter.  Seems like a lot of money to be a 3rd defensive tackle.

Sorry! No one should expect anything from Carter at this point!

Makes no sense, honestly will just end up hampering a top DT from getting on field.   He fills zero need.  This is not the DT we need, unless the plan on cutting DaQuan Jones.

I already see Carter as a sunk cost and massive draft blunder. You have to upgrade that defensive line any way you can.

Draft blunder? Curious to why you think that, I thought Carter was starting to come on before the injury

A pick in the late 3rd round and "massive draft blunder" don't associate.....

True. I include the trade-down in my thought process. It was a mistake, so far.

Just the fact that when he was healthy he was a healthy scratch behind street free agents is a major red flag for me.

Are you assuming Carter is gonna be a starter?
