Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!

This is Josh’s last season in his 20s.  
 

He’s been pummeled this year, largely because wide receivers are not getting separation quickly.  Some of it’s on Josh, turning down first or second read when it’s open.  Defenses are overloading one side, and Brady no answers.  So it’s a perfect storm of Beane neglecting WR talent, Brady having no gameplan two weeks in a row, defenses overloading and overwhelming our line, over and over.

 

So the least we could do for Josh is get him a WR blitz beater - a WR who will get open quick, and has moves and speed. 
 

For the Love of God, Please get Josh a WR Josh deserves

I'm kind of surprised by the lack of trade this week. It's a perfect time to bring someone in during the bye to get acclimated to the offense.

 

We really have to get someone.  Meyers seems like a pretty easy trade, and would really help.  Obviously Olave, though that's more expensive.  But there are options, and we have to take advantage of this year where there are no standout teams.

I don't think you could go wrong drafting an Ohio State WR every year somewhere in your draft...they are 3 and 4 deep every year and have been for the better part of 3 decades. Same can be said about LSU, but dam the Buckeyes 3yards and a cloud of dust is ancient history - though they still develop a ton of great running backs too...

It also takes two to trade.  We could have called on some players, but just because we call doesn’t mean those teams are in a rush either.  Teams are going to try and find the best deals if they make trades, so it’s not our timeline they are on, it’s theirs.

Olave or Waddle...anything else is just repeating previous mistakes.  And it still chaps my ass to think all Beane would've had to give Seattle is a 2nd round pick for DK....let that sink in when you're thinking about TJ Sanders.

I think it was the contract rather than the compensation that put them off but I was on the trade for DK train too. He was the quickest available route to shoring up a major weakness. He is not an all around elite receiver. But the thing he is elite at is the EXACT thing this offense needs most. Separating outside and down the field.

As soon as he went to the Steelers, Pickens should have been on his way to Buffalo. Still on rookie deal and on the field he is who they wish Coleman would become. Their were definitely options out there this offseason.

IMO we need a CB and a Safety over another WR who won't be sent out for the deep pass no matter how fast they are. Perhaps even another LB, our smallish LB's seem to always be injured.

 

Put whatever resources you have left this year on the Defensive side of the ball, next year put all resources on the Offense and give Josh a hand putting 50 on the board every week, Defense doesn't matter, they seem to put all their resources in that boat only to watch it hit an iceberg year after year.

This is basically it.  Would we even use a potential WR1 type to their ability?  I think it would benefit our team much more than a LB, corner or S would IF Brady used him properly.  I get the feeling that this defense isn’t going to get much better unless we have a scheme overhaul soon

Defense isn't a player away. Probably isn't two players away. Need to add a WR and try to score 40 every game. Then of there is a move to be made on defense sure.

The Bills D has sucked in the playoffs, but they get stops in the second half.  The last two playoffs the D got the Bills O the ball back, and they have failed again and again.  Last two exits the offense has had its chance to win the game and failed. 
 

Get Josh some ***** help already!
