We just watched his team come back from down 21 with him as the best player on the field. In today’s NFL, you could argue that “top WR” is the 2nd most important position in football. They can win games. Elite pass rusher is the other option. We’ve watched Myles Garrett rip off 13 sacks over the last 4 games and they’re still the Browns. LT would be next followed by interior pass rush. The Bills consciously decided to not address WR. That’s wild.

And pay for average talent to rush the passer

Jerrah understands that this is entertainment and that bombs away is entertaining.

Sounds like you think it was a mistake…

Can’t get enough undersized, penetrating DTs…

It's not just that Beane ignored the WR position, it's the fact that he poured all his resources into the defensive side and the defense is still awful. Arguably worse than last season.

Interesting that Dallas made the deal for Pickens even though they already had Ceedee Lamb…

Like the Rams going out and getting DeVante Adams when they already had Nacua.

I don't question Pickens's talent.  I do question how he'd gel with McDermott.

Maybe it was, and maybe it wasn't. The Cowboys did win today, but they will probably still miss the playoffs.

Well if the Cowboys do miss the playoffs, it won’t be because they traded for George Pickens…

Weird watching teams with two elite wideouts play one another.  Beane told me you had to suck to get guys like Jamar Chase....yet here are two teams with qbs being paid like franchise guys and they both have two elite wrs.

I'm going to be watching Hairston, Sanders, Hancock & Walker closely vs Pittsburgh.

They're really our only hope at rapid improvement

Bingo

And another thing that's extremely frustrating is for multiple offseasons this front office keeps saying they want speed, beane has stated over and over again that he wants game breaking speed yet he keeps passing on it at wr. He finally figured it out by drafting Hairston, and that's possibly a playmaking cb

Polian understood this frickin decades ago with lofton, beebe, Bennett and odomes.

Even James Williams was not the greatest but had great speed.

I don't get it

I was pounding the drum for this guy. He’s a phenomenal football player. The Bills are stupid.

Same! He was special at Georgia but he had character issues so probably completely off of McBeanes board 🙄

Pickens is Antonio brown level of crazy. Just give him a little more time. The team that throws crazy money at him will be regretting it.

That was the beauty of acquiring him this year -- he is making peanuts.

Plus even if he was a rental and it didn't work out the acquiring team would be getting a compensatory draft pick I believe should he leave in the off-season?

He got banged up and wanted to come back in as well so he looks motivated and maybe a change of scenery was all that was needed, at least for now.

Sanders? I honestly have no idea what his uniform number even is. Anybody know?
