BuffaloBillyG Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Right now the Jets have an extremely wide net cast. They are basically requesting to speak to everyone including Brian Griese and Josh McCown. One the one hand whoever is hired their fans have to be satisfied that an in depth search attempt was made. On the other hand, the net is cast so vastly and wide at least to me it seems like there is no real plan in place and they are hoping to stumble onto someone by accident. Quote

Bruffalo Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Good for Brady to be drawing attention. It's deserved, even if it is early timeline-wise for his career. That being said, this is the philosophical issue with having a defensive headcoach when you have an elite game changing QB. Every 1-2 years we'll probably have another OC. Will it matter? I don't know, I guess it really depends on Allen. Even with Dorsey stinking up the place, he still looked elite. 1 Quote

Expand Joe Brady is a smart guy that can give any team he goes an offensive play book and mind that will succeed in the NFL IMO. Drafting the future franchise QB and developing him may appeal to Brady. Hopefully the Pats don't get any bright ideas because they have their franchise QB in place already. They wanna coach Expand Brady has had an up and down career and has yet to make big money. He was never a head coach in college, and his first OC job (co-OC, actually) ended badly and quickly. He came to Buffalo as the quarterback coach, I think. It would be silly for him to turn down a four-year $20 million contract from anyone, including the Jets. I’m not sure what Brady makes currently, but it’s definitely not in that neighborhood. If anything were to happen to Josh Allen, his chance of becoming an NFL head coach would be nonexistent. Quote

Expand Sean Payton is a very talented Offensive guru to coach under IMO. ( scary game coming up peeps ) Now serving under McD,so two very successful HC coaches in the NFL, Gurus on both sides of the football. Joe Brady likes to run the football. Distributes the ball out very well to all the play makers. It takes the right players to succeed. A complimentary football team on both sides of the football. Inept is what I would call Ken Dorsey.
