May Day 10 Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 @ San Francisco on MNF is probably the worst-case opener for the Jets. Holy smokes. Tough defense, top-2 team in the league, West Coast, then will likely have a short week coming back East for the 2nd game. That's a team with its media and fan base who can't endure a bad start. The away team on the 2nd Thursday game has had a home opener the week before for the last 5 years. Since we play Miami doubt we'll play back to back week,. With the rest of the opponents schedule to come here already scheduled that leaves just Jacksonville, Tennessee, Arizona, and New England.
