This guy, about to post the lottery numbers next. 🙄

Sorry I actually watch the players and form opinions on them lol.

What’s more useless, my opinion or the “I trust whoever Beane drafts will be elite” opinion?

Well...this scouting report looks very similar in a lot of areas to Keon Coleman's:

Weaknesses

Play strength might need upgrade against physical cornerbacks.

Press rides on him for early stages of the route.

Has had issues securing catchable throws underneath.

Very average foot quickness and long speed.

Could struggle to knock athletic corners out of route phase.

Below-average separation burst out of breaks.

Drifts into route turns at times.

Lacks stride to open up and find a second gear.

Very little grit in his run blocking.

Anyone care to guess what WR scouting report this was for?

Oh boy - this board is a bunch of general TV watching, wing eating doofies. (I kid)

Coleman is a stud, full stop. He led the ACC in TD's, he is the BEST adjustment WR in the draft. The BEST. Adjusting to passes thrown up (high) back left/right he was rated #1. Now look at Josh who isn't the most accurate at all times and we secured a strong WR who will catch the ball and also block for us.

He is very good at the cross routes too... so underneath cross routes. That's Brady.

With Coleman, Samuel, Shakir, Kincaid, Knox and Cook, not to mention Hollins, we are set and Josh has weapons.

Now, go get us a strong RB to add to this weapontry.

Hollins is not a weapon.

The analysis you’re responding to isn’t really accurate and also doesn’t factor in the late-season context for FSU last season (terrible quarterback situation because of injury).

Josh Allen will be throwing balls to Keon Coleman.  His success will not only be the graded on "normal" timing plays but his ability to

find enough room to have Josh chuck him the ball during Allen's scramble drills.  Coleman's success or failure will have a lot to do with that.

If he develops the smarts to do that, he will be a very BIG asset.

Keon Coleman's highlights from Micihigan State

Watching that the thought that occurs to me is he plays like a bully, the ball is his and he's going to do what he wants with it.

And we aren't done adding to the WR room whether it's a vet or draft pick

I see them adding a speed WR at some point, which makes me wonder why Franklin is still available. Was he a poor interview or something? Didn’t we work him out?

Reports are he had horrible interviews and they question his love of football

Your opinion or an NFL GM's analysis? I think you know where I'm at...

Anquan Boldin ran a 4.71 40 time

Here are what scouts, coaches and GM’s said about him before he was drafted:

Here are comments on Boldin from 16 talent evaluators leading up to his 2003 NFL draft:

Scout: Cocky. Catches everything.

Scout II: Tenacious after the catch.

Scout III: Great athletic ability but can’t run. Fits into a power, West Coast-offense. Third round.

Personnel director: Great quickness and RAC (run-after-catch). He looks like Andre Rison on tape. I knew his speed was suspect but his first step quickness is better than most. Excellent hands and a tough, tough guy.

Personnel director II: If he ran a 4.45, he’d be a mid-first rounder.

Wide receiver coach: Can’t run. But put his tapes on and all he does is make plays. Early third round if you need a possession guy.

Offensive coordinator: Like the way he plays. He’s a football player and doesn’t play slow.

Head coach: Good player but he’ll be lucky to go in the first day.

Head coach II: A winner. Didn’t run well but someone’s going to get a steal.

General manager: How many 6-0, 215-pound, 4.65 wide receivers make it? Third round.

General manager II: Second day. Can’t run. Good but not great receiver at Florida State.

General manager III: Just watch the tape. If you loved him in the fall, why hate him this winter based on his workout? Second round. He’s Hines Ward but more physical.

General manager IV: Everyone loves the way he plays. That’s got to account for something. May be the best of all of ‘em after the catch. Makes the first guy miss. Second round.

General manager IV: Bottom of the second round.

General manager VI: If you take him, put him in the slot and disregard his track time. Good player, good athlete. It’s tough to overlook his speed. But when push comes to shove and you start factoring in the football players, you’ve got to take him over some of these projects. I’d rather have him in the third round than reach for a (Taylor) Jacobs in the first.

Wouldn't he have interviewed at the same combine that he was so sick at that he had an awful performance at?

I have to admit, the more I research this guy and the more I learn about him, the more comfortable I am feeling. Also knowing that guys like anquan boldin, larry fitzgerald, jerry rice all ran similar 40s makes me feel better. But this guy clearly has the physical tools and I love the fact that he excels at other sports and can be used in the kick return game. This guy can catch the damn ball though that's for sure.

Terrell Owens ran a 4.65 at the combine👀
