Since Ken Dorsey has zero intention of establishing a running game, wouldn't it be better to fill those spots with valuable depth in other positions like DB or OL? I'm glad Buffalo didn't trade for Derick Henry since they wouldn't give him the ball anyway. Dorsey wants to throw all the time out of shotgun. But they do run. When it's 3rd and goal from the 4 and Allen is in the shotgun. They run at the most inopportune times that they possibly can. McDumbass had every opportunity to build a dominant offense around Josh, but chose to go heavy failed defensive players. colin Posted November 6, 2023 Share Posted November 6, 2023 We went heavy jumbo in the first half in 2nd and 2, cook took the ball quickly (no delay) to the left side and converted easily and honestly had a shot at gainer if he broke another tackle. Nihilarian Posted November 6, 2023 Share Posted November 6, 2023 The more things change...Josh Allen was the Buffalo Bills leading rusher in this game. 8 carries for 44 yards and a TD James Cook 6 carries for 20 yards a 3.3 YPC AVG. Murray 2 carries for 4 yards, a 2.0 YPC AVG. Nihilarian Posted November 6, 2023 Share Posted November 6, 2023 Nothing we can do as Buffalo Bills fans... except piss, B word, and moan which we seem to do a lot of after every loss. I still can't believe that this year's team lost to the NE Patriots, manhandled by the Jags and almost beaten by the NY Giants and Bucs. What gets me is that it is the offense that's fallen on its face game after game. The defense did allow the Patriots to put up 29 points though. What's going on with the offense? #5 overall offense in the NFL and yet they can't get out of their own way at times If only this team could run the ball like they did against the Raiders, Commanders, and Dolphins. Rushing, 35 for 183 2 TDs against the Raiders Rushing, 33 for 163 2 TDs against the Commanders Rushing 29 for 104 2 TDs against the Dolphins. Clearly, when Josh Allen is under center and they have a commitment to run the ball they seem to dominate on offense. The Jags did go with an 8 man box to stop the run. Seems unbelievable to me that Buffalo OC Ken Dorsey couldn't figure out a way to counter that or get the run game working in other games. Dorsey's seemingly trying to vicariously relive his NCAA glory days via Allen in the NFL where he failed. I've thrown that possibility up in the past and it was not meant as a joke.
