Williams was replaced by Dodson when stepped in for injury

Consensus seemed to be he played pretty well against the Giants

Williams came in for Milano in London...but was replaced by Dodson. Williams was also replaced by Dodson last game against the Pats. McDermott talked about it this week in his presser. And when asked did not confirm Williams would be starting this week.

So the two games in a row you stated is vs. the Pats, and then McDermott not confirming the start this week?

Haha, that seems weird. Let’s call the Eagles and ask about AJ Brown too! Why would a SB team trade one of their better players? How does that make sense?

and the guy they should ask around about is Jordan Hicks of Minnesota. Playing great and won’t take much.

I saw Hicks in a "Rumor" post about the Bills. If they are talking to the Vikings,  I'd also be interested in Lewis Cine. Maybe a package deal.😁

The Milano injury changed everything, but Beane went into the season dangerously short on linebacker depth, that’s on him. I agree with those who think a WR is the better route. Go all in on offense, between draft choices and trades this defense experiment has been going on for years, at some point they need to admit defeat.

From today's Daily News. I don't know if the Bills could make it work cap wise.

LEONARD WILLIAMS, DL: 20 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 5 QB hits, 1 blocked FG, 7 games

Williams, 29, has stepped up in the final year of his expensive contract, which carries a void year in 2024. So he is the most attractive trade chip on the Giants’ roster. Imagine what adding Williams to an already strong defensive line could do for a contender. Similar to Barkley’s situation, trading Williams off the Giants would weaken the team and send a clear message that this organization is playing for the future more than the present. Still, he carries a team-high $32.2 million cap hit. It will be difficult if not impossible to retain him after this year. So if Schoen can get back 55% of Williams’ remaining cap hit, plus assets, a trade would make sense.
