You also forgot likely the largest home grown company in WNY. Wegmans. 50,000 employees.

and that’s just Buffalo. Of course you can always add in Rochester and even closer, Niagara Falls both US and CA. Eastern Ontario is the financial hub of the entire county of Canada so there’s that.

My father would have loved to have been Project Manager for something like this... he was one of those troubleshooters who was sent to a job to keep it moving and the budget reigned in. He worked on the St. Lawrence Seaway with Uhl, Hall and Rich in the late 50s and later on the Niagara Power Project in the early 80s. There is a lot of Sopranos type crap to get anything substantial built in the state of New York... my father ended up having a hunting holiday on the Rockefeller estate when he was governor LOL

I’ll go down the list of ones that I am pretty sure have suites or recently did.

Blue cross

Dupont

Geico

Ingram Micro

Kaleida

Moog

M&T

New Era

Rich

Seneca Gaming has the largest box in the stadium I believe. Pretty much takes up like 2 whole sections.
Tops

Univera

Wegmans

then there’s others that I know for a fact have seasons which are Atwal eyecare, and I’m sure nobody has ever heard of this company unless you are in real estate, Borman Law. But here I was just thinking only Fortune 500 companies were able to afford box suites.

I’m fairly certain that New Era doesn’t have one anymore. I was at a game this season in a suite. It was through my wife with a company in the IT world that is doing business with her. We seemed to be the token business related attendees to keep it an allowable expense. I was talking to the owner and he said he didn’t think they were going to have one in the new stadium as they expected the yearly fees to be in the $250k-$350k range. That’s just to have the rights to use the suite. Tickets and food are extra.

I know Ingram Micro had one and was pretty sure it was about $250k and you had to have the food and drinks stocked as well at an extra cost. It all depends on the size of the suite. Pretty sure a few years ago you could get a smaller one for about 80k a year. I’d imagine those will go up to about 200k with the new stadium.

which is why I am certain that a lot of the suite season tix holders will likely opt for club seats in the new stadium. There will be multiple tiers of club seats in the new stadium With different amenities like reclining chairs, tables, food and drink packages, etc. I think you’ll see a lot of the smaller suite holders like the small law firm I talked about, just go with clubs instead. They will cater to the new suite owners and you will like see some big names that you’ve never seen before in Buffalo taking some of those suites.

oh man, how could I forget the Broadway Market.  They should be able to allocate the funds from Babcia’s Pierogies sales for a luxury box  at the brand-new stadium.

A bit off topic but still related when considered in relation to all this talk of luxury suites. My google feed today featured two articles on football coaching/management home prices. The recently fired Defensive Coordinator for the USC Trojans is selling his home in suburban Los Angeles for $4.5 million. That article also says the Trojans Head Coach, who fired him, lives in the next door neighborhood in a home valued at $17.5 million. Whereas Brandon Beane, Bills General Manager just sold his family home in suburban Buffalo for $1.5 million.
