Like if it's a linebacker or safety with a perfect angle, meeting him one-on-one, Singletary almost always shakes him and gains more yards. He also has a tremendous work ethic and fits in great in the locker room. That said, he'll continue to see meaningful work throughout the playoffs, obviously. But after that? Well...The main reasons I don't want to re-sign him are: 1.) I don't ever believe in giving out second contracts to running backs UNLESS they're either elite, game changing talents (Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook) or meaningful passing game assets (CMC, Kamara). 2.) With James Cook and Nyheim Hines, the Bills will already possess a pretty fast, scary duo that can both also contribute in the passing game. 3.) Too many more pressing needs elsewhere to spend what limited cap space the Bills will have on. If Singletary will come back at a very reasonable and team friendly deal, then MAYBE, but even then....it's probably better business to just draft a late round guy to replace him. Completely agree. I fear our cap situation is going to force a couple of really good players’ departure.

If anything, maybe they add a bruiser type RB to help out in pass protection, and help punish Nickel and Dime defenses. 2

What’s more likely in paths to victories over nfls best teams ? Greg rousseu a power rusher only with no one opposite him (spare me the what about shaq! He’s a JAG) to suddenly put instant pressure / winning against elite passing offenses consistently ? or Josh Allen going off and offense becoming explosive ? DO NOT expect this D to look good this playoffs. All the stats last year said they were #1 or 2 and they were god awful and historically mind numbningly bad in clutch :13 winning scenario. Their lineup is worse than last year. The lineup is not worse than last year…Milano and edmunds are playing much better than last season, Rousseau is playing out of his mind. Daquan jones is playing well. Ed oliver is playing well enough to draw doubleteams. Corner was not good last year after White got hurt too so there’s no change there…I still think white at 80% is better than anyone else we’ve had at corner the last two years. we have more depth there this season too. The only real negative compared to last year is no Micah hyde but everything else more than offsets that. I'd love to complement Cook and Hines with a big, strong, one cut and go type of guy - like what we had with Karlos Williams during his lone season.
Low Positive
What I want to see is a Bobby Hart big man TD. This board would explode if it ever had to post something positive about Bobby. A Groot thicc 6 would also be welcome.

As it is, it's totally mind blowing that the Bills indisputably have primarily positive outcomes when Bobby Hart is on the field for the offense this season. I don't have the EPA numbers in front of me, but he's been valuable as the extra blocker in the jumbo sets. If you'd have told me that Bobby Hart would be a meaningful contributor to the Bills offense in 2022, I would've called you a filthy liar.

I disagree mostly because I think we will be able to sign him for much less than you think. But where I disagree heavily is point 2. To me it doesn't make sense to use Hines as an argument for not signing Devin. Hines gets 5M next year with no dead cap and I think there is zero chance we keep him for that price tag. So Hines has nothing to do with Singletary imo.
