If you don’t believe scheme (plus a draft pick/costly free agent heavy line) is playing a significant part in the relative success of this defense, then it’s not worth arguing. Edmonds at this point is a luxury addition on top of that, purposely built to take on specific teams the Bills are likely to face in the playoffs (cough, Chiefs). Basically against the other all world QB, you want every edge you can muster, so for the current time/price he’s doing exactly what you want. Pickett was throwing outside all day. Edmunds wouldn’t have mattered on those passes. Quite silly you went out of your way to bash him when he didn’t even play.
