11/14/21 Postgame Thread: Bills at Jets

The Bills don't need to run the ball 20-30 times.  The threat just has to be there that they could run at any time and it cant be so predictable.  They did a good job with that today.  Mixing stuff up and having some misdirection is what makes this passing offense work.  Lining up every down and just expecting to be better 1 vs 1 allows the D to pin their ears back.  It was the Jets but this is definitely a good start.  I hope to see this the rest of the season even if they don't blow every team out.

Just means it’s not broken or super messed up.  Those guys have so much adrenaline that they’re not gonna feel stuff until the next day

I would think they were fairly confident about it I mean it was garbage time why put him out there if you're not sure?

I agree. There's a lot to like. But between the first drive and last of the 1st half it was still a lot on Josh and not as run tough as I thought it was going to be. I'm not complaining here... just not fully what I expected.

This defense showed me they are a lot tougher this year, even down Star.

yeah, HUGE difference.

Defense is down two key starters who normally play the majority of the snaps, plus a strong contributor just IRd -> still strong game

Offense is down 3 starters who normally play the majority of the snaps -> Hot mess ahead

Our depth on O is not as good as we’d like to think, especially at TE and OG we are mi-tee-thin

Nothing like a little throw down in front of an opponent you will face again

The Bills really buckled down this past week.  Better practices and better execution.   When you execute, the play calls become “good”.

Colts will be tuff.  I’m glad we are home and hope they are ready again next week.

The game plan/play calls become good when they actually are.  They were completely different this week because they actually were different.  Yes the execution was there too.

Been thinking for awhile that the constant talk here about Moss and Singletary's lack of speed was kind of overblown. But, as soon I saw Breida run I knew how true it is. You could see him recognize a crease and explode through it...impressive. Gotta find a way to work that kind of talent into our lineup.

After seeing this week's game I think I'm about done with Moss and ready to see him be inactive again.  I realize he's coming off an injury and all that but it just seemed apparent how much better the vision is for Singletary, and Brieda brings a much different look to the RB core.

Having Spencer Brown back is huge, the dude is a physical monster.  It's too early to call it a home run signing, but he looks SO promising.

Knox is a fantastic TE1 option.

Mixing McKenzie and Davis into the lineups is definitely a good thing.  More creative looks like this Daboll PLEASE.

All in all great win, even if it's against an inferior opponent.

Breida is visibly faster yes. But he’s visibly faster than most RBs in the league; it shouldn’t necessarily be a knock on Motor or moss.
