I’ve listened to more than enough Sal taking the obvious shots at the D Line last year, etc. On the other hand I gave up on the afternoon show as they are bafoons. I agree on cutting Sabres time. I flipped 550 on during the afternoon on day one of the NFL draft. It happened to be during Sabres talk time. I was floored. The Bills are lined up to be in the SB hunt and the draft is finally here, but let’s spend hours talking about the worst team in hockey. Over a 5 day week(Mon - Fri), how much Bills talk is needed. It’s just the same callers blah blah blah. Another thing I've noticed...I tuned in a few weeks ago after something Sabres related had happened only for him to talk 10-15 minutes about an experience at the vending machine. What program director or station manager listens to that and doesn't make a point of ending the incessant banter about nothing. The afternoon show needs some energy, but they won't alter their hosts because there's no competition.
