High percentage for seniors. If anyone cares, since the vaccine came out, urbanization and density really tell the story. NJ has high urbanization so they could spread it more easily, but as the state vaccinated, it won’t be nearly as disastrous as Florida, who has a lower urbanization rate but higher density. Florida was less likely to spread the virus, but since no one got vaccinated, that advantage was squandered and will end up with more deaths by a large margin. A dictatorial will dictate that no one wears masks. Is the school and local governments just institutions? I put in Covid and masks as search indicators and got over 900 articles in the medical literature. I am still going through them but out of the first 100 there are 12 articles all demonstrating that masks can help limit spread. So you are wrong. Accept it for once. Masks or no masks I think one element missing in schools is a program of vigorous testing. There are 'instant" type COVID tests available that could be used on students. Tests that can generate positive/negative results in 15-30 minutes. That could be administered at home before going to school. They're moderately expensive but no more expensive when you weigh the cost of hospitalizations and spreading the infection. I'm not sure why officials and health experts have not pushed this action although one issue is availability and supply of these tests. But that can be resolved by throwing some resources behind producing more. Children ages 0 through 3 must be in child restraint devices of a separate carrier or a vehicle manufacturer’s integrated child seat.
