Josh Thomas, Garrett Taylor, Abraham Wallace. Also Jaquan Johnson who is a draft pick. No one beat Marlowe out. Marlowe was a UDFA himself. Turned himself into a pretty good player.

The only draft pick is still on the team, and all UDFA’s or journeymen aren’t? Also how much do you think Marlowe’s experience in the system came into the decision to keep him around? His experience only matters if he plays well. No one beat him out who was brought to add competition to his roster level. 🤷🏾♂️ Edited Thursday at 01:38 AM by purple haze

IgotBILLStopay 1,618
If Marlowe bolts, it will be a big loss - depth very shaky behind Dr. Poyer and Mr. Hyde.

I am hoping the “mystique” of the Lions gives us the advantage. Remember when that used to work against us? Me too. Life is good for Bills fans, no matter where Marlowe ends up.
NI Bills Fan 167
Marlowe has now signed with the Lions. Quite surprising this one... thought for sure he'd be back. They must have a plan in place to replace him in FA or the draft as the safety depth is far from deep. 1
junior12thman92 301
I'm disappointed in this one - was really hoping we would re-sign him. Best of luck in Detroit!

gonzo1105 536
He prob was told by the Lions he could compete for a starting role, something obviously the Bills weren’t going to do

BuffaloRebound 1,502
Good for him. This is probably his last shot to start and get a payday. I’m sure the Bills wanted him back, but couldn’t offer him either.

Mountain Man 476
I'm pleased for him. He's earnt the right to compete for a starting job. Hamsah Nasiliredeen just seems such an obvious pick as a replacement in the draft . Versatile, strong tackling and high football IQ.
