Obviously there was no plan since no weapons were brought to the Capitol.  The Oath Keepers brought some to DC, but left them in their hotel rooms.  Without weapons (and Joke said it would take F-15s and nukes to overthrow a goverment), there was no threat to our democracy, and everyone left on their own after getting bored.

Wait, what????

Another conspiracy blown up in their pathetic faces... by a WOMAN, no less.

This exactly why you need cross questioning in these hearings. The obvious question would be: Why would these guys describe it as real, real bad if they were going to get the result they planned, intended, or desired? Wouldn’t you describe it as “this is about to get good”?

Hutchinson hasn’t actually testified about anything remotely illegal or even improper.

She’s relaying boring office gossip, acting as if she had more access and input than she ever actually did.

But the desperate are clinging on to it as a "bombshell"

How embarrassing for them.

Bonus question:

If they knew there would be issues why did trumps requests for troops denied?

Guess we aren’t supposed to ask that though

Can you provide the actual memo or WH documentation where Trump authorized 20,000 National Guard troops?

It was a spontaenous protest over a...no, wait, it was a planned protest that, no, um, it was a spontaneous insurrection so they have no idea they needed extra security but it was planned because Trump was obviously in on it.

Lots of straw man happening there.

There was an attack on the Capitol after a Trump rally nearby. Many of the people just followed the crowd. We also know that several groups actually planned to break in and occupy the building. We know that one of those groups was in contact with people in Trump’s circle. We do not know if Trump himself was involved in the planning.

We have a recording of Trump meeting all of the elements of violating Georgia election law.

We have sworn testimonial evidence and documentary evidence of Trump likely meeting the elements of Conspiracy to Commit Fraud Against the United States.

To your point, what will come of it? I am skeptical that the DoJ would charge a former president with a crime even if they had them dead to rights.

In the meantime, it’s at least nice to have a historical record, and hopefully we will at least get prosecutions of some of the people higher up the food chain.

Blind faith in government is not an admirable quality, Tibsy.  Think. Ask questions.  Look within.

Russian climate would kill me.  I'm thinking Boca when the time is right.

No - that’s just you moving the goal posts every time a conspiracy of yours blows up in your face.

Are you a loser?

No, but you may see things differently as is your right in this fine country.  I mean you've come out hot with "Hey move to Russia!" and that's pretty powerful stuff.

Now that we have the move to Russia and loser thing out on the table, what's the status on the criminal charges against Trump, the ones that you seem completely obsessed with and have assured us are forthcoming?

Or is everyone in Washington still in on the grand conspiracy?

For goodness sake Tibs, take a stand and be be bold.  This pussyfooting around and indecision makes you looks weak and timid.  I already acknowledged I might be a loser based on your standards. Talk to whoever has your nuts stashed in a jar and get ‘em back for a bit.

Then, send the information on the criminal charges against Donald Trump.  It’s absolutely possible the criminal charges are invisible, or written in that ink that has to be heated up to be seen.

Nice talk.

And all that amounts to nothing.

Meanwhile you have a couple videos of unidentified persons removing snow fencing and thats proof of a multi-agency, governmental conspiracy to entrap and imprison political foes.

The burden of proof is something else.

Word Hutchinson was going to testify brought back memories of Oliver North where he skated on charges of destroying evidence in the Iran-Contra affair.  His secretary, who today would be titled as an administrative assistants, smuggled out secret and incriminating documents out of government offices in her panties which were later shredded. The documents that is, were shredded.  Ms. Hall while having her 15 minutes of fame in testifying to Congress, also escaped any formal punishment.  Ms. Hutchinson's testimony provided no such salacious details.

The 1980's were simpler times but the tradition of establishment actors breaking American law while meddling in the affairs of foreign countries going unpunished (unless they're whistleblowers exposing illegal acts of powerful players) regardless of party affiliation still remains in place today.

This was pretty straight up. They organized a violent mob and sent it to obstruct the peaceful transfer of power

It cannot get through the skulls of some folks here.  They will do ANYTHING not to admit reality, it’s basically the definition of insanity.
