Best thread I have ever read...Pats-Bills postgame thread on Pats message board

Imagine if McDermott tried an onside kick that failed & NE marched right down the field & scored, then at the end of the game trailing by 3 and already in FG range Josh fumbled the ball.  The torches & pitchforks would be out all over this board.

Hate reading opposition forums should be part of everybody's post-game ritual.

Pats' fans, and I say this is a WNY native who's lived in New England for a long time, are the biggest whiners on the planet.

You should've seen that forum during Deflategate, when they were talking about the 1st, 4th, and 6th amendments.  I never knew there were that many constitutional lawyers here!

As much as I hate all the dominance by the Pats and BB, I have to respect them.  They still have the core culture of winners, that's dragging their substandard players along to be at least competitive.  There is just no way those guys should be that good, to be in a position to beat the Bills until someone on the Bills D finally made a play.

Until the Cam fumble, I kept pinching myself to make sure I wasn't watching highlights of some game from XX years ago, where once again we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

I'd rather they lose in a blowout, myself.  But "a win is a win" "you are what your record says you are" and while we're at it -

Chris Simms, "Bite Me"

Well, sure, and I said the same a handful of responses ago.  For me, having watched this team lose so many close games including (and after) the Music City Miracle, watching them close this one out was a satisfying way to spend the afternoon.  Having some Knob 9 is a lot smoother now.

The difference is that today's decision was by a guy who's won dozens of Super Bowls (or so it seems, anyway), and not a guy who's 0-2 in the playoffs.

Past success buys a lot of forgiveness.

If you're gonna polish off that knob, I don't want to hear about it.

You went there, eh?  I should've chosen a career in marketing instead.  Lewd ads are hilarious!

Nice.  I'm watching one of the fan based post game shows you can find on YT.  They're pretty impressed that the Bills decided to pound the rock using outside zone simply because the Pats are awful at defending it.

I listened to the Pats*** post-game show on the the way home from watching the game at a local eating and drinking establishment.  The comments were glorious.  The hosts were apoplectic and callers were calling for Belichik to be fired and for the Pats*** to tank their remaining games so they can get a quarterback in next years' draft.

They've had it so good for so long slightest bit of adversity is magnified 1000x and they have no idea how to react. I would expect alcoholism to skyrocket in that region shortly.

True.  Zolak, their radio color guy must have been hilarious.  He is insufferable.

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure I read on here that we got badly out-coached.
