One has to wonder if Tucker could be the first independent journalist to broadcast directly through Twitter. It’s certainly interesting that this is the only avenue he chose to release his video. Rumble makes sense as well, as they’ve been dropping huge money to secure some of the biggest young influencers migrating over from YouTube and Twitch. One thing is for sure, as Russell Brand stated, where Tucker goes will tell us a lot about where the future of independent media is heading. The powers that be are losing their grip on the narrative. Under the penalty of sanctions should they be lying, Musk's lawyers state that Twitter was not coerced by the government to censor posts or users, nor was it paid by the FBI to do so. They do state (as has been pointed out numerous times) that while the FBI might notify Twitter of accounts or posts that may violate their terms, Twitter had full independence to make the determination if policies were violated. Most of what these platforms claim is "advertising" revenue is coming from the US government in the form of well laundered payments for censorship services.
