Again, missed the outrage on him getting another contract. Kaep is an indivual, so is Incognito. The difference THIS YEAR would be that the NFL itself, the league, is pushing issues on us while we just want to watch sports. In all those discussions, people supporting BLM and such want to mock other fans not liking this pushed on us by a sports league. Yet most of us don't argue for or against the POV, but the fact a sports league will push one such POV during a time we want to focus on something else. Football and Bills football is what draw us on this board yet we are totally divided on this topic. What good would come to the NFL to lose viewership? I know plenty of people who genuinely don’t want sports to get political either way because it is their escape and I totally respect that. i also know some trash human being you are racist scum who love football yet hate the people that play it. I also assume you watch games involving certain players with bad backgrounds (did you watch week three last year?) - does this viewership mean you support or don’t care about domestic violence? Personally, I think you can celebrate the NFL’s stance while not agreeing with everything they do, say or feel. I think you can celebrate freedom of speech and expression even when what’s expressed isn’t how you feel. I’m glad the NFL has given it’s players and coaches a voice. I intend to hear the message (Intently) and how it’s conveyed because it’s important to those who convey it. If it broaches a line beyond where the message should go, then I’ll reserve my rights as a listener. We live in a new world where everyone is trying to influence everyone else for a myriad of reasons. It's everywhere all the time. From Madison Ave to Pennsylvania Ave to Amphitheatre Pkwy and all points in between. Why anyone is shocked that it would seep it's way into sports and One Bills Drive makes me just slowly shake my head. We all helped to create this and we just have to learn to live with it in our own way. I'll get off my Hyde Park soapbox now with the hope that the world can learn to keep it's emotions in check and loose them in the right place at the right time.
