Yup.  Blame it on an activist judge.

Actually I blame it on the guy who lied and pleaded guilty.

It would have been nice to see it close out with the charges dismissed but the system is what it is.

An American hero can get on with his life.

As a convicted criminal who escaped justice because of a pardon.  Flynndicated was a hoax.  End of story.

No.

Rather an established pattern of criminal behavior, brushes with the law, accusations of sexual abuse, money laundering, bank fraud, public antics, messy divorces, mob ties, and bankrupsies that no one who grew up around NYC or Jersey found shocking when similar chaos and accusations followed him into his Presidency.

There was no need for some liberal cabal, plot, or hoax to manufacture things that have followed that man around his whole life.

Who would have thought this once great nation would be lead by a president getting shook down by some ambulance-chasing lawyer representing a porn star that had been paid off to shut her up.

Stay proud Trump fans, you deserve him.

The irony is that, outside of the bankruptcies, you've pretty much described Joe Biden.  Except Trump didn't have the press and Congressional slush funds covering for him.

So then Clinton was rightfully impeached.  Gotcha.

That is disgusting thing to say... You don't ever call someone like that an American hero. That is a slap in the face to our first responders and military.

Not really.  The DOJ took a second look, offered an alternative as to whether or not the charges should have been filed, and wanted the case dropped. It didn’t happen, the only way to pursue without the potential extended political persecution was to pardon him.

Everybody wins (except General Flynn, of course).  As you said, he opted to plead guilty based on his view of the situation he faced.  When he realized things were hinky, he attempted to undue what had been done.

It’s a cautionary tale.

General Flynn is an American hero.  He served with honor, ended up on the wrong side of the wrong administration, and assumed everybody was playing above board.   He was wrong.

Now, it’s time to heal.

Hogwash... an utterly ridiculous attempt to rewrite history. Yeah, Biden's career is just littered with litigation from Porn stars paid to keep quiet.

Just search the number of lawsuits Trump has been involved in prior to 2016 - list them in a reply.

Then search and list Biden lawsuits. Actual suits brought before a court requiring evidence, not the conspiracy nonsense like claims of election fraud that shrivel up and die in the light of the courtroom.

Exactly let the cult of Trump live in Trump tower together. Let them fight his future legal battles. Let them create the third party so it can destroy the republican party.

Pardons don't cover future acts so it's likely these cretins will be heard from again ...

Yes, it's all conspiracy against Joe and all "accusations of..." against Trump are real.  If that's the world you want to live in...

I'm pretty certain Trump will try this. Not sure where it leads but he will try it

I have no doubt that Trump fantasizes about it but he simply doesn't have the balls to risk treason.   Moreover, I doubt that the US military will go along with it since the reason for martial law are civil unrest or rioting.  Unlike Trump, American military men and women, top to bottom, take their oath to preserve, protect and defend the US Constitution seriously.

Flynn controlled what Flynn did, including admitting to the charges 3 times now.  He has no one to blame but himself.

That's hogwash.  Complete poppycock.

When faced with being steamrolled by an adversary with unlimited resources and the power to crush you and anyone around you love, decisions have to be made.  When the government case unravelled--as it did, it was certainly possible for even the most well-intentioned judge to follow the recommendations of the justice department.

Well, he could have avoided all this by not lying.  If he really did nothing, he shouldn't have accepted the pardon.  The man has no honor.

What I wonder is: Which single religion is Flynn advocating for America?

I am partial to Zoroastrianism. Let’s bring back a classic.

I guess he gave up defending the Constitution about the same time he abandoned truth.

Seeing we understand what the Freedom from Religion was all about (and keeping religion out of schools ISN'T it) of course we have a problem with this.

Guess @B-Man missed a news story about one of his heroes going batshit crazy. Usually he’s so even handed.

I find it futile to engage in topics related to law-and-order with the authoritarian left.  If its a political opponent then maximum sentences, automatic assumptions of guilt, and showing no mercy applies.  But if it applies to popular positions like de-fund the police, looting is a form of reparations, no bail for crimes, lenient prosecutors refusing to prosecute violent criminals, drug infested encampments on city streets, eliminate prisons, events like CHAZ, and so on then they're all on board with ignoring or breaking the law or giving criminals a pass to go out and commit more crimes.  Because political opponents are dangerous criminals and economic or social criminals are victims.

It's not like we recently had a president use law enforcement to clear peaceful protestors for an unnecessary photo op with generals.

And it's not like plenty of Republican states support mandatory sentencing like three strikes laws:

Arkansas (since 1995);

Arizona (since 2005);

California (since 1994);

Colorado (since 1994);

Connecticut (since 1994);

Delaware (since 1973);

Florida (since 1995);

Georgia (since 1994);

Indiana (since 1994);

Kansas (since 1994);

Louisiana (since 1994);

Maryland (since 1975 but amended in 1994);

Massachusetts (since 2012);

Montana (since 1995);

Nevada (since 1995);

New Jersey (since 1995);

New Mexico (since 1994);

New York (since 1797);

North Carolina (since 1994);

North Dakota (since 1995);

Pennsylvania (since 1995);

South Carolina (since 1995);

Tennessee (since 1994);

Texas (since 1952);

Utah (since 1995);

Vermont (since 1995);

Virginia (since 1994);

Washington (since 1993); and

Wisconsin (since 1994).

Enjoy your high horse.
