Noose Found in Bubba Wallace's Garage: UPDATE - No Hate Crime, Per FBI

Not to prolong this but one has to ask. If the "noose" was hanging from the garage door, why did it look suspicious to ANYONE? Wouldn't other garages (at least some) have similar pulls? One would expect something was odd/different about this one. Maybe few garages use them anymore and the person who discovered it was a newbie and unfamiliar with what it was?  I'm just trying to search for a legitimate explanation that doesn't dissolve into conspiracy theory.

Give it a rest. No one is at fault here. Move on to Russia, Ulysses Grant, Teddy Roosevelt or some other punching bag. Let the friggin drivers race and stop being Geraldo Rivera of 2020 because this vault is, likewise, empty.

I have absolutely zero idea what the hell you are talking about. Do you?

They did. The video posted earlier showed a door pull from the Truck garages that had the same rope pulls. And the pictures from 2019 of the NASCAR garages showed the same pulls. Why someone did not speak up and say something, who knows.

Yes, so my question is, what made this so odd? i'm not pushing any theory or agenda. Just seems bizarre. Maybe the noose came loose and was lying on a bench or something?  Just looking for some reasonable explanation as to why all this went down.

Pretty simple. Go to Google and search “garage door opener rope handle” and see how Walmart, Lowe’s and 10 other retail outlets all advertise “ropes” to open a garage door. The point is, you are prolonging a very troubling news story that was an honest mistake.

So Bubba is doubling down on it now, and contradicting NASCAR at the same time.  We ready to blame him at all yet?

Yeah... But GDOs have  a manual  override.   You guessed it, a pull rope.  /smh

My pull rope has a red plastic handle on it.  I must have paid extra.  I don't remember.

He wants to be Colin Kaepernick.  There’s money in the victimhood cottage industry.

Again, I’ll keep on saying it:

We‘ve reached a point where we’ve miseducated an entire generation of people to believe victimhood is social currency; while at the same time social progress has nearly eliminated racism.

The result is that now racism must be manufactured to meet demand.

It's all about consistent branding...

Good ol' fashioned rope with a knot is the NASCAR style! Yeeeeehaaww!!

I reckon.  We should just move on and forget about this.

That is "doubling down"?  You and @LeviF91 should check out #BubbaSmollett which is trending on Twitter and you'll see what he is responding to.

He said it wasn't a garage pull.  The FBI said it was.  NASCAR said it was.  So yeah, doubling down.

Better watch how I tie my racist knots from now on.  Can someone tell me if there is a racial history behind a perfection loop?

You could attach a rubber chicken to the garage and call it a garage pull.  Some might still call it a rubber chicken.  Especially when its the only time you've ever seen a rubber chicken used as a garage pull.

You seem to be very confused about what I am asking.  I'm NOT asking what it looks like.  Every one of your responses to me completely misses the point. My question remains, why was this ONE handle marked as suspicious if it was so common. Maybe it wasn't where it usually was (like hanging from the garage door) or differed in some other, suspicious way.

BTW, there is this:

https://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/story/_/id/29357584/bubba-wallace-nascar-investigating-hate-crime-know-know-fbi-findings

It is still being investigated by NASCAR.
