BillsFanNC
Being the 40th anniversary of Permanent Waves, I'm going with The Spirit of Radio and Freewill. Two killer tracks back to back to open the album. 2

One of my favorite pairings has to be The Grateful Dead with China Cat Sunflower/I know you Rider. This album is right up there with The Last Waltz and Stop Making Sense. Just perfect. I have a rare 80's copy and the artwork and sound quality are spectacular.
SinceThe70s
I posed this question to my friends and here's what came back so far (none of which eclipse Black Dog/Rock 'n Roll IMO): Accept: Fast As a Shark/Restless and Wild Metallica: Battery/Master of Muppets And in the category "he might have had a few this evening": Van Halen: Irruption/Runnin' With the Devil/Ain't Talkin 'bout Love

PromoTheRobot
I can't think of any off the top of my head from the past. But there's a new artist named Matt Maeson who has three songs on the radio and they're all really good. The new one "Hallucinogenics" is the best.
