Super Tuesday Primaries 3/3

That sums it up. The Sanders backlash is plain to see. Heck, even in the Communist Republic of California Biden and Bloomberg combined for more votes than ol’ Bern. When the basis of your message is Anti American and centered around “ free stuff”, you will attract the very young and the very dumb. In the end, though the Sanders crowd will not vote for a Joe Biden. The Biden backers would probably not vote for Sanders. The reality is that Bernie should be running on a Socialist ticket, and not trying to take over a Democratic Party that has no real message, but is not nearly as liberal as its radical Bernie faction. A pickle indeed. Trump’s re-election is almost a certainty now with the splintered dynamic of the Dems.

I think we both could have been more precise: They're ***** either way.

Seems like most of your worlds are flipping on their respective heads and you're realizing that it's quite possible you've been wildly delusional for the last 3+ years

In no way is it delusional.

Joe can’t beat Trump. That’s unchanged. He’s “winning” states he’ll lose in the general. Trump’s drawing record turnout for an incumbent (unchallenged at that) — that’s a statement about what’s coming.

All good here. Not sure who you are referring to , but I’ve not seen anything yet that makes me think Trump won’t be re-elected. The Dems are a fractured / splintered party with divergent factions. Tonight made that abundantly clear.

Bro just man up and admit how dead wrong you were.

Jesus. This place is just so damn silly.

I literally posted a post from Saturday that has been proven 100% false today.

I understand you're still clearly in that strong denial stage. I just KNOW we can get you to acceptance...

Somehow...

Some way...

I underestimated Joe in the early races, without question. But our bet, my point from the beginning has always been this stage is irrelevant because none of them can beat Trump.

Least of all Biden.

C'mon man...

How do you expect anyone who isn't firmly entrenched in your Trump camp to take you seriously at this point?

Tuesday will be fun to watch you come back with a new story about how you never were that high on Ol' Joe.

This was literally your post from Saturday and the "no chance" was regarding Joe as the Democratic nominee.

Stop being like your Idol President and just admit you were completely wrong and move on.

Sheesh...

Keep drinking your Kool-Aid, Leftists. It will be all the more amusing to see you shriek in November.

Ummm... what???

Dude. You guys are holding fast to an outlier being the new norm.

Seems pretty simple to me.

Don't worry though... unlike another poster, you didn't make a wager with me over this.

and at risk of sounding like a degenerate gambler, I also bet a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue with my father in law that Obama would be reelected after he was elected in 2008.

that empty bottle still proudly sits on my mantel.

can't wait to see the new avatar for @Deranged Rhino when Trump loses this Fall.

PS: Biden just won Texas, despite posters like @B-Man believing prematurely he lost it.

Can't wait to watch you guys twist narratives in the upcoming weeks and months!

Elizabeth Warren did the Sanders campaign no favors. She had no business being on the ballot tonight.

That is precisely why she is still in the race. She siphons off some Bernie votes, which ultimately helps Biden. If Mini Mike drops out on Wednesday and turns around  and uses that money for Biden, then the whole DNC is behind  a guy who has dementia/stroke symptoms and who ran a pay-for-play in the former administration which he admitted to on camera.  ?

Sen. Elizabeth Warren came in a distant third in her home state of Massachusetts on Super Tuesday, in a likely devastating blow for her campaign even as she vowed hours earlier to keep going in the race.

Speaking to supporters during a rally in Michigan, which votes next week, Warren urged voters to cast ballots that will make them "proud" instead of listening to political pundits.

Voters in the Lone Star State turned out in droves for the Democratic primary on Super Tuesday.

With just 57% of precincts reporting Tuesday night, Texas surpassed its 1.4 million vote total from the 2016 primary — when Hillary Clinton bested Sen. Bernie Sanders en route to the party's nomination.

Texans — particularly in places like Harris county — waited in exceedingly long lines for five-plus hours for a chance to cast their vote in the race, which accounted for the second-most delegates of all the Super Tuesday states.

In all honesty, do you believe that Joe gets even close to these numbers if Pete and Amy weren't strong-armed to get out?   That's a pretty big shift in the odds from Saturday.

Yeah, but does Ol' Stammerin' Joe and Cornpop know they won?

This is funny. Trump literally did this line of argument at one of his sick rallies and now you guys parrot the same line of attack. Pretty sure Biden could explain anything better than idiot Trump can. Trump can only insult people and lie about his own record.

I didn't see any of the results of Joe's Senate run, so I can't tell you.  Maybe he will let us know today. ?

You sound almost as mad as Joe got when a fat guy asked him a question.  I bet your response will be to challenge me in a pushup contest.

I'm a little surprised the Democratic party base picked Biden over Bloomberg or took a chance on Klobuchar.

I don't think Biden has the energy to see the finish line, he's just as gaffe prone as Trump, and the only reason he wasn't roughed up about his brother's shady dealings, Hunter's shady dealings, his various political positions over the years, etc. is because the other Democrats thought he was dead in the race and they didn't want to spend the precious dollars.

Trump and the Republicans will spend those dollars.

At least with Bloomberg or Klobuchar, you didn't have decades of that kind of baggage.

The party conducted a live experiment of electability in the last month, and decided that Biden was the least offensive of the bad bunch.

The turnout of voters will carry him. Hard to ignore those numbers.

Least offensive is probably accurate.  But the fact that to the elite, he's "one of us" which goes along with his 50 year "I ride the train back to Delaware every night, because I'm one of the common people" schtick which worked fairly well with voters is IMHO a far larger part of why they've coalesced around him.

Really doubt though that he'll be able to keep the schtick up now that the veneer has come off.  So, it seems that decision will work about as well as Wile E. Coyote's schemes in the long run.

Sooooo... regarding this from Saturday DR:

Are you going to continue to double and triple and quadruple down or can you admit you were just plain wrong and without even the benefit of a week to give some kinda bullcrap "well I didn't know _____________ would unpredictably happen?"

I said I didn't care about Iowa, New Hampshire or Nevada because Biden's race didn't start til South Carolina.

He still might end up behind Bernie in delegates after California, but this is pretty clearly a 2 man race now and Biden has a damn good chance to still win the nomination, as I've predicted for MONTHS...

Well hey, you can console yourself with me just being a broken clock that's right twice a day.

Once with this...

Once with Trump losing...

You prepared to flaunt your Biden avatar?

i don't know that i would be taking a victory lap here.

i think the real takeaway is that... you guys are so desperate and delusional, you are voting for a man who obviously has dementia. what does that say? are you guys on the cusp of full blown dementia yourselves as well? i think a  case could be made....

from the returns, though unofficial at this point, Warren is not having as great of an effect as the establishment might have hoped. only 12 delegates won tonight is not viable for the long run. Bloomberg having won 39 delegates is more of a drain on Biden. though neither is really viable.

i expect both are going to drop and we have a two man race in the Dem party.

If Hillary carried Trump over the finish line in 2016, Trump should easily pull Biden over the finish line this time.
