Those two back to back sacks were on allen? Our line got beat immediately on a three and four man rush.... The lateral didnt hinder the game at all. The intentional ground was desperation because a sack there would have been even worse

A sack is worse than 10 yards and a loss of down???

Fall down or run forward, you know damn well you are on the fringe of field goal range.  Instead you run back further?

You are talking ridiculous right now.

Really? I'm not sure that's even true. While he has a big arm, his deep ball accuracy was trash all year. It ultimately won't matter if he has the ability to make those throws if he doesn't actually complete them. There's some throws he can make on the run that a lot can't, but that's negated by the ones he doesn't make in the pocket, and I'm guessing that's what you meant by the second part of being too inconsistent.

I agree he's improved and will get better, it's more the deer in the headlights look we saw against the best competition that I'm worried about. Sometimes that's different than improving. For many QB's, poise and composure in the biggest spots against the best things isn't ultimately teachable. I worry that we don't have a QB that's going to be at his best in chaos.

He made that throw across his body to singletary tonight to pickup that third down was more what I was referencing.

Are you basing this on his play today in his first playoff spot ever or on the trajectory and improvement he has shown since entering the league. You've given us a binary question for something that does not deserve a binary answer. If he plateaus, no. If he continues to improve, yes.

This.  Which by the way applies to every QB in the league.

Coaching him conservatively the entire 3rd and half of the 4th got you beat, asking him to win it after you all but took the ball out of his hands the entire half isnt aggressive

He threw 46 passes...that's conservative to you???

He gets one more year to show major improvement.

If the bone head plays and lack of awareness doesn't improve drastically, time to find someone new. He needs to start completing the easy passes to wide open guys regularly.

This team is a QB away from contending for a Super Bowl.

Josh Allen is not a franchise QB, at least not now anyway. He may be a nice kid, but come on!

Dude will be the 2020 League MVP mark it down. I am never bullish like that but this is going to be the fuel that makes him better than all the others his age. Look at what Watson did last year in his first playoff game. The sky is not falling the kid played pretty well today.

I hope you’re right. I really really do

Our line got immediately beat off the line on a three man rush, he turned around and had the guys in his face, he had no time to run forward lol. How does our 5 guys fail to buy a second of time on a three man rush lmao

Protection scheme set by Qb....

You can continue to make whatever excuses you want, he flat out stunk in the 2nd half.

The team is A premier WR, a good 3 down back, and an offensive tackle away from being the best offense in the NFL.

Are you the coach or GM?

Maybe. Jury is still out. His inexperience showed through in this game in a BIG way. However, he probably did enough to achieve victory if a few key plays are executed properly by others. Duke HAS to make that catch for the TD. That’s why he was active today, and the pass could not have been better. McD and Frazier waited too long to bring pressure on Watson, who wasn’t reading the coverage well all game. Milano and whoever whiffed, and that was your ballgame. When you wait until the margin of error is zero....As good as Josh handled the first half, the second half was poor. Coaches did not do him any favors leaving Watt 1 on 1 far too often. A win and another game would have been huge for Allen’s development. It was achievable, but we can’t yet say for certain if Allen can lead the Bills to the promised land. This game was essentially a tease, and will take its place in a long list of Bills debacles that I really thought were behind the franchise now.

I'm a fan who sees our QB consistently let us down against good opposition.

You’re seeing things through Bills PTSD colored glasses. The world is round I promise?

What would the cost be to bring Allen back next year if he was franchised? I'm guessing its around 30 million. Would you take a 30 mil hit on the salary cap for next year? If the answer is no, he ain't your franchise QB.

I think its important the Bills pick up a much better #2 QB, and/or draft a mid-rounder. Like the Titans and Mariota, Allen may need to be benched next year in order to save their season.

He’s under a microscope more than most qbs because so many pundits already labeled him a bust.  He led a game tying drive and what should’ve been a game winning drive if it wasn’t for a blown call.

You bench him and you go 4-12. He still on his rookie deal. It would be as bad as what Buffalo did to Flutie.

20 in the first half, they didnt go back to the pass until the lead had vanished, they then had to pass basically every down given they were getting stuffed and were going against the clock

There was a time span during the beginning of the third until midway through the 4th that we were totally content to burn clock and run the ball
