Is Sunday Night Football not usually the #1 prime time show of the week?

I’d assume it is but without context hard to make much.

if the bills are a quality team they get more opportunities. It’s not media out to get them or buffalo hate. Many media members appear to have a very genuine fondness for the team but have not been able to count on them.

Which is impressive until you compare it to the average Sunday Night Football game that draws 20.5M according to the tweet right after that. The numbers were likely negatively impacted by the low scoring game script, which doesn't draw the fair weather fan.

That's what I was expecting. Comparing Sunday Night Football to other, non-football shows is irrelevant. Everyone knows already that football is king. No other show can compete. What you want is to compare SNF games to each other. I'd like to see the ratings of all the games this season and see howl last night's compares.

How was it compared to last week?

The Bills should have at least 3 prime time games including a Sunday night game next year.

Week 14 Sea vs Rams drew 17.88M

The Bills are also the largest city in New York State to have an NFL franchise and it was the first of those cities that had Buffalo style chicken wings*

* we get to just call them wings...Seriously, can you imagine being in the shadow of Lincoln Financial Field and saying, "I'd like a Philly steak and cheese, please!"?

I'm not trying to take anything away from it, just thought it was helpful context since I was curious myself after seeing it. Maybe better than the previous week, but below the average for the year. Appreciate the link - it's interesting to look at it over the course of the year.

Hold on just one gosh darn minute

FAKE NEWS!! there is no way a small market team like the Buffalo Bills with the wrong Josh can have record ratings THREE weeks in a row!!!

No rating records this week. Not even close to the highest ratings for the season.

For years to come the big AFC matchups will involve Lamar, Josh and Mahomes.....

Until Lamar gets figured out like every other running QB.

...and LA you know for sure that there will be those guys out there that hold on like grim death that will refuse to acknowledge any sort of credit to Josh.  I am not at all saying CC is one of them...but they are out there.

Wait until the link is updated with this weeks game.  The key number is look at the share in the 18-49 age bracket.  it is is close to like it was on thanksgiving of a 9.3 that is very good news

I hope you are right, but unfortunately fans, media, and advertisers

want to see games that have Brees, Winston, etc throw for 400 yards.

Defensive games tend to put people asleep at night who are not fans of

the teams.

numbers don’t lie. These were strong numbers for a Bills team that people say are frauds going against a 3rd string QB

This game was flexed to have good numbers because it was a meaningful

game that meant something, and it was expected to be competitive and

close so people wouldn't change the channel, and it had two winning teams.

The game they took out was the Vikings 39-10 win.

I didn't get to sleep until about 3am ;)

I usually nod off in the 3rd quarter and wake up during the final wrap at 11:30 ;)
