    He lived in my neighborhood in Utah. He’s such a genuine guy, and unbelievably kind. Not exaggerating, I think he’s an awesome individual. I was crushed when we didn’t draft him. Football-wise, he has amazing instincts, and seems to play incredibly fast because of them.

    But none of your other suggested options are available, therefore: Cole Beasley. OBJ is hurt, Crowder is hurt, and McKenzie hasn’t been reliable and we can’t wait for him to figure it out this late in the year. Shakiir is promising but needs more time in the oven. Beasley is our best bet at salvaging the slot this late in the season.

    Didn’t know David Quessenberry had a brother in the NFL, the Texans center. Saw the name plate and had to look it up. Texans helmets look like Christmas tree ornaments.

    According to the plaintiff’s attorney, they contacted the Bills about this in late July; that the Bills still cut Haack makes me think this case doesn’t have much merit. Not accusing anyone of lying, just saying there must not be much evidence. or Haack sucks that bad and they thought a scrub could do the job. Regardless, they knew about this and still cut Haack.

    Love it! He is such a shifty back; he has a better dexterity skillset than Singletary and he’s faster. Singletary has more pop, but Cook can wriggle out of really tight spots. Awesome!

    Siran Neal is quality depth at safety and nickle, Taron Johnson is superb at nickel, Dane Jackson was solid for being a young late round pick, Jaquan Johnson has flashed but is stuck behind two quality starters, Wildgoose was stolen by the Jets. We need to replace Wallace and Tre might not be ready, that’s why we drafted a corner.

    I really wanted Andrew Booth Jr, had a great feeling about him. I’ll trust McDermott knows CB’s better than me, though, it’s kind of his thing.

    I’m getting a little exhausted by Beasley making this such an issue. I get that he doesn’t like it, I won’t get into whether it’s justified or not, but these rules were established and teams have to roll with it. What has his resistance accomplished? It’s only hurt us.

    Yeah, disappointed. This is one I thought we’d lose, though. I still think we have one or two losses to go, 13-4 or 14-3. Titans got some lucky breaks, that’s how it goes sometimes. Still a bummer.

    Some tough breaks. It happens some games. Sucks, but we’ll be just fine.

    I don’t know about game ball worthy, but: Josh Thomas- he has flashed several times these last two games. As has Hamlin. I had no idea we had this level of safety depth. Trubisky of course and Gilliam get game balls. And AJ Epenesa gets the “ohh s&*%!” award for planting that LT on his backside.
