Tiberius
Quote The U.S. ambassador to the European Union, Gordon Sondland, intends to tell Congress this week that the content of a text message he wrote denying a quid pro quo with Ukraine was relayed to him directly by President Trump in a phone call, according to a person familiar with his testimony. Sondland plans to tell lawmakers he has no knowledge of whether the president was telling him the truth at that moment. “It’s only true that the president said it, not that it was the truth,” said the person familiar with Sondland’s planned testimony, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive diplomatic matters. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/trumps-envoy-who-denied-quid-pro-quo-now-says-he-isnt-certain/2019/10/12/4abe0902-bc19-44e8-8c38-9aa35c544859_story.html Ok!

Tiberius
Dems might be forced to actively seek out and accept foreign help from anyone that will give it. If Republicans don’t convict Trump the Dems will have no choice. Perhaps the democracies of the world could donate right to the DNC and do some serious spy work for the Dems. Breaking into computers, scamming email accounts, threatening people and worse! Democrats can’t fight with one arm behind their backs like they are now. Trump has dark foreign money flowing into his campaign. Democrats might lose because of this.

Deranged Rhino
The DNC won't lose because of "dark money" They're going to lose because they have no message other than hate. No message other than "Orange man bad!". They've had three years to get over the loss of 2016, but instead of moving on, they doubled down on outrage and the country was watching. The DNC have only themselves to blame for the ass kicking coming their way next November. But it'll sure be hilarious to watch the meltdown all over again.

Deranged Rhino
Nope. Unlike 2018 where they only lost Senate seats, in 2020 the left is on the verge of losing the House, more seats in the Senate, and the White House (again). And they'll have no one but themselves (and their supporters like you who let them get away with this nonsense for 3 plus years) to blame. It's going to be hilarious.

November of 2016 the wife and I sat on the couch and watched the returns come in. We laughed our asses off in disbelief. I have a feeling November 2020 as we watch the returns come in there will be some laughter again but this time it won't be due to disbelief.

ALF
Bolton instructed former Russia adviser to alert NSC lawyer over Ukraine, adviser testifies The New York Times reported that during the meeting, Bolton got into a heated exchange with Gordon D. Sondland, the European Union ambassador. The paper reported that Sondland worked with Rudy Giuliani, Trump's personal lawyer, to pressure the Ukrainians to investigate the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. Hill reportedly said Bolton likened the former New York City mayor to a “hand grenade who’s going to blow everybody up.” She said it appeared Giuliani was not working in coordination with the normal foreign policy channels when dealing with Ukraine. “I am not part of whatever drug deal Rudy and Mulvaney are cooking up,” Bolton reportedly told White House attorneys. The Washington Post reported that investigators are now considering calling Bolton to testify. Sondland is expected to testify later this week. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bolton-instructed-former-russia-adviser-to-talk-to-nsc-lawyer-over-ukraine

SoCal Deek
I’ve been in Europe for over a week. Glad to see nothing’s changed here at home...but distance and absence has given me a little perspective: The Democrats are going to try and impeach a President for a phone call he’s never denied and one who’s short transcript is fully readable by the American Public? And this is what’s now considered a High Crime or Misdemeanor? Has to make me wonder what a Low Crime would be!
