Jamie Nails
Our three starters are nearly 100 years old combined. Has that ever happened? 95 baby!
ngbills
McCoy, Ivory, Gore. We now have 3 of the top 13 active leaders in rushing yards. Gore #1, McCoy #3 and Ivory #13. Got that going for us.
par73
A fourth round pick would be much more appealing. I honestly don't understand this one.

Slippery Rubber Mats
I'm fine with it. Our RBs will live and die with our OL. Get to signing OL, Beane.
Green Lightning
Well, now we can bill it a Jurassic backfield. Christ, really? How about some young legs?
Logic
This signing is worth it to me for the overreactions and hand wringing alone. Side note: No NFL team in history has a better all-time backfield than the Bills: OJ Simpson Thurman Thomas Marshawn Lynch LeSean McCoy Frank Gore Cookie Gilchrist
Warcodered
I mean sure he's old but this doesn't seem like that expensive or long a deal.

It must be the completely against the grain aspect of it. In fairness, Gore has still been productive, even at his relatively advanced age, and the cost is minimal. I agree 100%, I'm not sure why you love this

He'll be 36 years old for opening day. Tied with Sproles for oldest RB in the league. Sproles he is not.
BillsfanAZ
Oh how I have missed over reactive Bills fans. Gore is still playing at a high level. He can do everything even though he is older. They will cut Ivory and prob draft a RB in the mid rounds. Calm down.
gonzo1105
I would expect that Gore is coming in to be a 3rd down guy who can pass protect for Allen. Something none of the Bills backs were particularly good at. Still ran for almost 800 yards and over 4 YPC last year

blacklabel
Not quite sure what to make of this. Despite his age, he's still highly productive. Totally different running style than McCoy as well. And I don't know if this means Ivory will be cut. They seem to really like him and he's sneaky good catching out of the backfield as he showed a couple times last year. Still though, it really doesn't fit with their narrative of overhauling the roster with the youth movement. I gotta imagine they're poised to grab a kid in the mid-rounds who would probably be overjoyed. What young back wouldn't wanna learn from Gore and McCoy? Brianmoorman4jesus
This team has done some of the dumbest things imaginable over the past 15 years. Nothing ever surprises me with these guys. Almost no matter what gore does, this will be completely pointless. You could have drafted a 21 year old in the 5th round and instead you just paid 2 million to a 36 year old running back... PetermansRedemption
I don’t get the logic behind this one. I can’t see it at all. “Dawkins opens up a gaping hole to the left, you could drive a truck through that, here comes (Shady, Ivory, especially Gore) and.... ohhh he breaks a hip.”
dgrochester55
The current me is underwhelmed by the signing, but the 2004 version of me is pretty excited to get Frank Gore
