Ignore his childish replies.

and if, by chance, he does offer something worth a response................fine.

“The proposal I will outline today .. with input from our border agents and our security professionals ... incorporating ideas from rank-and-file Democrats ... common-sense both parties should embrace ... walls are NOT immoral ... they will save many lives and stop drugs ...”

$800 million for humanitarian assistance.

More border agents.

More judges to reduce the court backlog.

He cannot change the rules for these court hearings. Congress must do that.

$5.7 BILLION for physical barriers which includes a wall.

He’s talking about “steel barriers” now.

Three years of legislative relief for DACA recipients. Give them access to work permits.

Extension of TPS.

“Democrats supported all these things in the past.”

If I'm Pelosi I say make the DACA kids amnesty permanent and you have a deal.

She stupidly put herself on record as not agreeing to a penny for a barrier. She overestimates her power in comparison to Trump and the longer this goes on the more she will be personally hated and blamed for the shutdown.

That's the move he's offered, which is right out of Sun Tzu:

"When you surround an army, leave an outlet free. Do not press a desperate foe too hard."

She has a chance to claim a victory while giving Trump one as well. Win-win.

But... they rejected that deal last time it was offered, I expect she will do so again because she has no power in her own caucus.

Hah. The wall would be a symbolic victory

for Trump and it could help his chances at getting re-elected. Pelosi isn’t going to agree to anything, she is pushing him to use the F U button and build it himself, but that would lessen his “victory”.

Troller in chief put the ball in her court today knowing that she still wouldn’t play. It’s all about public perception now.

The dems are just pushing the arrogance level past what the public will accept. What people aren't really taking into account here is that SCOTUS will at some time be ruling on that ***** federal judge's injunction. Also, if Trump calls for a border emergency the SCOTUS will be ruling on the inevitable lower court ruling too.

The ***** democrats don't want a DACA cure, they want to pretend they do but they need it for the issue it creates. At some point in time the republicans have to convince the Dreamers of this and let the chips fall where they may.

Good. So, since the Dems have no intent to fair dealing, how do you deal with them?

That's what Trump is trying to set up.

Pelosi isn't going to go for it, though. She'd rather play the politics game and hope that public opinion doesn't continue its trend against her.

Isn’t Trump doing the same thing?

Dear Nancy:

You are not very likable. You have made numerous statements in the past that have been pretty stupid and the public does remember "We have to pass it to see what's in it", "We have to extend unemployment benefits to keep unemployment down" and of course the bonuses and tax cuts were "crumbs". You are letting the ever increasing left fringe of your party hold you hostage. Quit focusing on politics at the expense of border security and at the expense of child slavery. The longer you hold the country hostage to the leftist fringe of your party the more hated you will become. You're rapidly losing political capital from an already meager political capital account. Do the right thing.

There's a reason Trump fully supported Pelosi for Speaker. She's as predictable as she is unreasonable and unlikable.

Settle down. The_Dude doesn't get to line 'em up and shoot them all just yet. We'll let you know when it's Tackleberry time.

Fox saying that Democrats won't budge until the government is reopened.

In other words, they want Trump to give up his leverage before they play.

Trump is offering solutions to the national problem, but Democrats are only focusing on the process of negotiation. They know that if the government reopens, then the pressure will be off of them to compromise at all, while Trump's offer is still hanging out there in the ether.

It's Democrat SOP:

  1. Refuse to compromise while Republicans keep sweetening the pot.
  2. Pressure Republicans into giving up their "show-stopper" to continue, in this case, funding the government.
  3. Once the government is reopened, Democrats refuse to compromise but insist on Republicans giving what they previously offered.

All of this happens without the Democrats ever putting an idea of their own on the table. Democrats just keep saying "No... no... no..." while Republicans keep adding compromise after compromise after compromise. When the dust settles, Democrats now have a menu of compromises to choose from while Republicans have nothing similar from the Democrats.

He has altered the offer. Pray he does not alter it further, Dems. Because he will.

The FALSE "never-Trump" reaction.............an attempt to divide

Quote

Judging by the reaction from my listeners and readers, if the Democrats were to accept the presidents deal they would probably be breaking up the Republican Party.

A lot of conservatives are livid.

This is accurate... but there are plenty in the middle starting to see one side is willing to compromise and the other will not.

Once it becomes clear to the non partisans that one side is being purely political (which is all the DNC is doing right now), they'll lose support fast.
