On a weekley basis if possible. there is too much competition former attention with streaming services, tickets are expensive and game day experience is blah with all the drunks. You want to keep us? Give us 54-51. Give us nearly 1000 yards passing and 11 Tds from the QBs. Give us the razzle dazzle I know we are keeping our Defensive Guy so its pointless to say it and I like McDermott and maybe we get the Defensive Coach who lands a Franchise QB 50/50 but to the fans of Jets, Browns, Ravens and Arizona...don’t let your owners either speak to anyone on defense. Just because you saw a MNF shootout doesn't mean a more balanced team is better AT HALF THE GAME than the other. The better defensive teams always make the runs in the playoffs.. that's why the NFC is loaded right now they have offensive juggernauts with good running, passing, and defense to boot. I mean we don't have to be dog**** on offense absolutely that kills us. But the teams that are dog**** on defense ain't gonna win either. Jay Gruden Jason Garrett McCarthy Nagy---dont be fooled; they're where they are bc of that D. It's a good O. But really how good? That's 8 very men coaches---plus Pederson but he has been brutal this season. And yes McCarthy is meh. The elite OCs are going to go where there is the most talent. So it's too easy to say "get the O minded guy for HC." They flop too. You don't have to have an offensive minded HC (they're more likely to flop as much as the DCs) but you absolutely better have a good OC and staff. If you have the elite QB ready it shouldn't matter. A great coach is a great coach, doesn’t matter if he came from offensive or defensive background. Two highest scoring offenses in NFL history led by defensive head coaches and neither team won the SB. Patriots set the record and lost undefeated season to Giants where their offense was shut down. Manning breaks record in 2013 and gets BLOWN out in SB. Furthermore: Top 5 NFL scoring offenses in NFL history: 0 Super Wins. 14 of last 20 SBs won by defensive head coaches. There are many ways to win the SB, but this notion it’s only with a high octane offense or offensive HC is completely false. . And the list of "new hotness" we'd all love: McVay Shannahan Nagy? I'm not going to include Payton bc hes not new and he might have thr best QB and GM in football. And with that QB...one of the best ever, they had hardly made the playoffs until last year since that 2010 SB. But anyway, it's not a long list. I'm not arguing an offensive guy as HC isnt preferable. Its just not as simple as "just get one." They are just as likely to bust. Get the QB settled. And surround with good offensive coaches----those guys are out there. I fear some HCs that are defensive minded might be a little threatened by them. I don't know what McD has here with Dabol. I think we are one step behind a team like the Bears, a young roster that looks like it will only get better for the years. But it ain't easy getting that balance at the best possible level.
