Three punters? It’s a bold move, but I don’t hate it!

If one can kick long and one can pooch and one can kick to the sidelines, the other team would have no idea where the punt would go. You line them up like the old T formation, three across. Genius! Analytics! Innovation!

Genius indeed. I wonder if there’s room on the roster for an onside kick specialist?!

I was thinking some weird science experiment....Schmidt's ability to hold, Lechler's leg, Ryan's sense of humor...have Dr. Andrew Cappicunno work on it...

Staying late and a good forty time doesn’t always equal production. Something else had to be lacking.

Production and the fact that the Bills

current roster was loaded at WR.  I never thought they would keep 7 WR’s.  IMO it was always going to be tough for Coleman to make this roster.  He would have essentially had a big enough preseason to oust someone like Holmes or Kerley off the roster.

He did nothing but win games for us at the end. How could they cut him? They could surely keep five TEs if they keep three punters.

The third punter doesn't know it yet, but they have plans for him...

"Just go out and stand next to the guy hiking the ball.  Then, hit a guy wearing the other coloured jersey, and for the love of Pete, do it quick!"

Not sure what the hell Beane was thinking with the Coleman trade.  Did the same garbage with Kaelin Clay last year.

I bet Beane was thinking that in 2020 when the Bills were drafting in the 7th round, that there would be no one close to Corey Coleman's talent on the board.  Also, he was thinking that by that time, a 2020 7th rounder, was unlikely to make the team he and McD are building.  It cost Terry and Kim a couple of million (which is akin to me going to Waca and buying an Icee) and it cost the Bills nothing in terms of real player assets.

You likely disagree with this thinking, but that's probably what he was thinking.

We could actually use a fourth punter if the guy was good at fakes. At least these punters would know not to block a guy in the back.

No question the very first thing Tanner did after receiving his release from the Bills was to log into TwoBillsDrive.

Yea I get your sarcasm.  All good, I'm content with taking my shot at stupid internet-age courseness that is almost never funny anyway.

Through training cap, It looked like Dean Marlowe was going to be on the 53.    History with McBeane and reports were that he was performing well.  But Siran Neal outplayed him in preseason games 3 and 4.    This was a case where preseason games likely did matter.
