ESPN just said Barkley walked off the field gingerly.

The video is out there, he slowly shuffled back towards the opposite end of the field from what I could tell. He was going full speed and extended fully to catch a Lauletta pass, could be a hammy.

Rashaad Penny suffered broken finger. Out 3-4 Weeks.

Ian Rapoport

Sources: #Seahawks first-round RB Rashaad Penny flew to Philly tonight and is having surgery to repair a finger injury that includes a broken bone first thing Wednesday morning. He’s out 3-4 weeks, which means he’s right up against the start of the season. Hope is he’ll be ready.

Package up a JUGS machine and a football inflation gauge, and offer it to the Iggles.  Then as for Foles, 'bring him in'!  ?  That ought to quiet the QB controversy around TBD.

Jeebus!  That sounds like something Wrecks would do to 'win the off season'.

Wow that sucks. I wonder how an achilles injury happens. Does it have to do with being a bigger guy compared to a smaller guy?

Plenty of stresses on NFL players both large and small that make the Achilles subject to tearing.

Just get rid of preseason. This is ridiculous.

Have them knock rust off in games that matter. Everyone will come in with rust and get better and at least the injuries will count for something.

Do you really want to watch a few weeks of sloppy regular season games?

Players sustain serious injuries in OTAs, training camps, and regular season practices too.  Should the league also get rid of those?

The preseason does serve a purpose, especially for those guys working their butts off trying to make an NFL team. Injuries are gonna happen. It's just the nature of the beast. You hope it's not to one of your key players, but it does happen.  Like 26 said, it also happens in camps, practices, and the regular season as well. It is part of the game.

Cash rules everything around me, CREAM, get that money.  Dolla dolla bill yo.

preseason isn’t going anywhere.  Wish it would, but ok much money.  They should extend the training camp rosters by 30 or so, so teams don’t have to play starters if they don’t want to.
