I travel to Indy for business on occasion and they have a really built-up downtown with tons of bars, restaurants, museums, etc. There's also some good bike and running trails in and near downtown. They have a lot of convention space, plus the Pacers Fieldhouse, plus Lucas Oil field, so they have lots of visitors in town all the time. They got high marks when they hosted the Super Bowl a few years ago and they also have hosted numerous Big 10 Football Championship games, Big 10 Basketball tournaments and Final Fours. So, I would actually recommend Indy highly. Oakland is pretty bad, but near SF and other good parts of the Bay Area. Green Bay is amazing for football Sundays (I have been to one game there and am going to the Bills game again there this year), but other than that, not much to see other than an old industrial town. But as one guy said, I can have fun in any city. If we are talking about hanging out and areas by the stadium, then the Rams are down on the list too. No tailgate area, no atmosphere around the area. New Orleans is one of the best with Tampa Bay, Miami and San Francisco also fun places to hang out. But in my heart, nothing beats coming back to Buffalo for a game. Not stadium experience. I am asking about the town overall. I have been to Jax - it sucks - maybe too five for me. Been to Dallas and KC many times - both fine cities other than the two closest teams I hate! NOLA...obviously. GB is probably a dud without their team, so it sounds boring. I used to travel years ago for work. Installation projects and such. Mostly working trips. But grab a local who loves their city? and you are bound to enjoy the visit. I’ve never like Indianapolis but I’ve only been there a few times. Any city that you don’t know that well will come across as underwhelming. I was there for work a few times and did the St. Elmo’s thing. We hit a Pacers game, a trendy sushi place where the athletes were (we were actually their 1st ever customers) and some bars. Going for the game and not really finding much to do there aside from a big mall...which is not in Minny really... and Paisley Park (Princes house) which is also not in Minneapolis.
