Who the hell cares what rich kids post on Twitter?

I agree. I've heard the kids are dbags. However, I don't really hold that against them.

I think it's probably impossible to grow up as the kids of billionaires and not be dbags.

TBN will have no one but themselves to blame when they are forced to fire writers because of declining readership. No one is asking for sunshine and rainbows, but their constant nattering about the Pegulas in columns like some sort of a scorned ex has been tacitly ratified by the higher-ups by continuing to employ these goofs . The act is old and tired and I'm not reading their columns anymore, I know many of you already avoid their opinion stuff, I'd encourage the rest of you not to give them clicks. We can complain about the stupidity in Sully's columns but them we create threads linking to them. The only way to not have to complain about the bile they write is to stop giving them clicks and money, maybe that will force a change.

LOL.   Whenever I see posters calling someone else a dbag, I immediately think of this...

Newspapers? They still have them things?:D

Yeah.  For only a teeny weeny subscribtion fee on top of all the other things tugging at you too can feel special and read garbage that nobody else is writing for free.

Like sticking to just the free journalistic garbage is not enough to keep you well informed. <_<

Oh come on! Prejudiced much? Why exactly are wealthy people bound to be D Bags? Please let me know the amount of wealth that you find acceptable in order to retain your soul. I’m dying to find out.

Neither. I like the economist, sometimes the bbc. But I don’t trust any media outlets.

They're all owned by the same 5 or 6 parent entities anyway, and all have exactly the same agenda, regardless of so-called "left" or "right" leanings.

I'll leave it there as we aren't supposed to discuss politics!

The best part to me is Harrington replied. Was it that big a deal to him?

He replied so others would reply, so others would reply, so others would reply, and on and on and on and on...

Here's the thing... professional sports teams always have a few primary bodies of fans: those who just want to enjoy the team; those who love to love the team for the sake of hometown spirit; and those who love to hate the team for the sake of always wanting to point out the time they were right.

Writers like Hamilton and Sullivan and Graham have, quite possibly, the easiest jobs in the world because all they have to do write something that appeals to one of those three groups because, by default, whatever they write will be challenged by the other two groups. Better yet, sometimes they hit the trifecta and piss off all three groups with one stupid column.

It's literally the laziest job you can get and still be famous.

Dog or not, the only thing they have to say is you are cut off from the locker room and stadium and your career is done Mr.Harrington.

Let me know how an attempt at this would work out.  The Professional Hockey Writers Association(or whatever sport is in question) would step in and squash any attempts at a ban very quickly.  It would not end well for the team.

Not bad. Vice I find to be rather straight forward news.  I read BBC the most But they have a slant too.  Yeah almost everyone has an agenda.  It’s best to read both sides and laugh. No one is writing about how corporate America rules it all.  The two parties are a puppet show.

There are still solid independent news sources. Of course you need to read several that oppose each other so you can sniff out the BS

Sorry, but news is not dependent upon the reporter's political views.  News is the simple facts of a story: what happened, who was involved, when it happened, and where it happened.  Example: Joe's house in Timbuktu burned down on Tuesday or the President addressed Congress on the economy on Friday.  Whether someone subscribes to one particular political creed or another doesn't change the facts.  If it does, then that "reporter" isn't reporting news at all but spreading propaganda.

You must not have heard the term alternative facts.  Coming from the WH.

Its not like she was hiding behind the dog really...its last name is still pegula so we know it was someone in the family.  I do think Harrington calling her out saying shes pathetic was weak.  You give negative opinions all the time dont get butt hurt when someone gives their opinion on you.
